I nodded, and he pulled up a chair next to me. Everyone else was doing their own things as always. "You probably already heard about the whole Dark Impulse thing from yesterday, right?" "Yeah, they told me."
"Well, I think I have a solution for it." I gave him a questioning look. "What do you mean?" "Well, I can travel back in time."
He then explained his strange ability to me. I'll admit, it was hard to believe at first but everything he said made complete sense. "Okay, okay, wait. So, if you really can travel to certain points in time, then how are you going to solve the Dark Impulse issue?"
"I talked to Baji and he told me the start of everything. So, Mikey and I will go back to then and change the timeline. Except, since you're close with Mikey, you might also be affected by it. That's why I'm letting you know," he explained. "How would that affect me?" "Well, you were different in every timeline I've seen so far. So my theory is that you end up in a different timeline each time that I leap. Except ours are different. If I go in the past of a certain timeline, you go to the future of it until I change it. I don't think you remember them, so you probably won't remember everything while you're in that timeline and when we return to this timeline." "That's a lot of information," I sighed.
He nodded, "Yeah, but we're so close to fixing everything. We just need this one more leap." I looked over at Mikey, who was talking to Draken excitedly. "Let's do it, then," I smiled.

"Let's go, Y/N," Sorla said, pulling her hand to the dance floor. The lights flickered and danced along with the people in short sparkly dresses, and shirts, and the music blasted.
"I don't know, Sorla, I'm kind of tired." "You've barely danced! Let's go!" She cheered. Y/N followed her friend to the floor.
She normally just works at her book store, and stuff, but today Sorla wanted them to go clubbing together. Y/N's not exactly a big fan of environments like this, but she thought it'd be good to try out. And it was a lot of fun to get all dressed up and stuff and she had a lot of fun dancing and talking to people, but she was tired now. Sorla, on the other hand, had had a couple of shots so she wasn't feeling tired at all.
She joined her friend, and they merged into the crowd, dancing and singing together. But, there was a certain group of people who had been sent here to find her. This just happened to be one of Bonten's clubs.
And there they were, two of Bonten's members, watching over her. "Why does boss want her in the first place? Is it a crush or something? I've got other things to do too," the pink haired one complained.
Ran's smile widened, watching her laughing and dancing with her friend. "Well, I totally understand. She's gorgeous," he sighed. "Yeah, she is pretty. But still, we have our meeting today with the other party." "I'd much rather be here."
Her skin dazzled with glitter, and her dress sparkled as the disco ball moved. "She's so hypnotizing," Ran commented. "If boss really does have a crush on her, then he's not gonna appreciate you saying that." Ran just shrugged him off and headed towards the dance floor, towards her. "Where are you going?" Sanzu asked. He groaned as he saw Ran walking towards her and sighed, "I'm just gonna have to handle this mission myself." He went outside.
Ran approached her, and she smiled at him. Sorla had went back to the bar to get more drinks, and Y/N had followed. Ran sat in the chair next to her. "Sorla, are you done now? We should really go home now, it's kind of late." Sorla stumbled, and grabbed her arm, laughing, "I still wanna go dance." "Yeah, no, it's time to go home." Y/N led Sorla to the door. Ran pressed his earpiece, "She's leaving now." "I've been here the whole time," grumbled Sanzu from the other line.
Outside, the girl was waiting for a taxi with her friend. A yellow car stopped near them and they got in, although she struggled to get Sorla to do so. She told the driver the address, and he started driving. He had bubblegum pink hair and scars around his mouth. It was definitely a cool look, but she felt as if she recognized it from somewhere.
After a while of just talking with her friend, she noticed they weren't going the right direction. "Hey, um, I think you took a wrong turn," she informed the driver. He shook his head, "Actually I forgot something at the club, so we're going back." "..okay."
When they got back to the club, the guy from earlier opened the door. He had a really familiar tattoo, too, which was on his neck. Now, she was really confused about what was going on.
"Take this one home," he said to some people behind him. One of them went to pick Sorla up. "What? No, where are you taking her?" Y/N tried pulling her back, but the other guy had already closed the door. She urgently went to open it, but the driver had locked it. "What is this!? Let me out!" The purple haired one got into the passenger seat. Y'know what, maybe Y/N does recognize the tattoo. It's on the news all the time. It's Bonten's tattoo. Well, this isn't a good situation to be in. She started hitting the window, trying to cause ruckus, but the pink haired one said, "That won't work. Everyone here works for us." "Do I look like I care?! Let me out! I have nothing to do with you guys, why are you taking me?! And what about Sorla?!" "Your friends being taken home. She'll be fine, we have no business with her, but you, on the other hand. Our boss wants to see you."
"What!? Why!? I don't know your boss! You have the wrong person, let me go!" The tall one laughed, "You're the right person, alright."
Y/N didn't know what to do right now, but when she was younger, she was part of Toman, so she knew how to fight. Just until they got out of the car. "Should we have put her to sleep?" The one driving asked, as she trashed around more, and shouted insults at them. "Nah, boss would get mad." "I told you, I don't care about your boss!"
This was the biggest underground organization in Japan, and for some reason, they wanted her. How did she end up here? She has no idea. It's all so sudden and random.
Up front, the two had their own discussion. "Maybe we could talk to her peacefully," Ran suggested. "Have we not already been doing that?" "I wouldn't call that peaceful. I mean we just kind of took her. We should explain more." Sanzu rolled his eyes, "What're we supposed to say? Oh, hey my boss said he wants to talk to you, so we're going to take you to him because he's a criminal and if doesn't like you than too bad, but if he does, then you're staying with us forever."
She heard that. "Sanzu, I think she heard that." "I heard that." "Well, good for you, I guess."
They had been driving for a while now. It was getting really late, and she had spent a lot of energy at the club, dancing, and the drinks were starting to take an effect. Her eyelids were feeling heavy. "I think she's sleepy now." "Good. She's starting to annoy me," Sanzu scoffed. Y/N opened her eyes again, "I am not." "Nevermind, then."
Even though she said that, she fell asleep after a bit.
