When we got back the house, Takeomi and Mochi were watching the news, laughing whenever they saw themselves on there. Sanzu cooked something for me, and then went into his room. Ran was outside talking to someone and Koko and Kaku were having a conversation in the lounge area. The only person I couldn't find was Rindou. But I found him later when I went into his room, after changing into pajamas.

He was also getting ready to sleep, with his pillow and blanket on the couch and playing his video games as always. When I walked in he set his phone face down and simply stared at me.

"What?" I asked, as I got into the bed. "I should be the one asking questions." I shrugged, "Then ask." "What's wrong with you?"

I rolled my eyes, "That was really direct." Honestly, I'm a bit scared right now. Yeah sure, Rindou's always angry, but he seems extra angry right now. And I don't know why exactly. "Why do you think it's okay to run away like that? You should be glad we're even keeping you alive. You think it's okay to cause us trouble?" "Well, I mean. I can't just sit around-" "Why not?! Why can't you just stay here! Are we not good enough?"

"Well, you have to understand that you guys are Bonten. Anyone would run away if they-" "I don't care if we're Bonten! This is a you and me thing! Do you not like being here?! Are we not keeping you happy enough?!" "It's not that." "Then what is it!?" I felt tears stinging my eyes a bit. Why's he always so rude? "I just don't want to stay here," I explained, my voice shaking. "You're not even scared of us, we're nice to you for the most part, and everything but you still try to run away!? Why?! Do you know how mad boss would be if he found out we almost let you get away twice!?"

"Why are you so mad?" I asked in a small voice. I wouldn't normally care, but this has been going on too long and i'm tired and he's over here saying all these hurtful things. He scoffed, throwing his hands up, "Of course because I can't be mad when the one person we're asked to watch keeps running away so-" He stopped shouting when he saw tears streaming down my face. The door slammed open and Ran walked in. Again, what is it with them and doors?

He also paused after seeing my face. "Oh, dear. I knew I heard some arguing." He sat down and wrapped his arms around me. "Did Rindou say something mean to you? Don't mind him, he's just a very stubborn person. I told him not to be too mean, but." Rindou gave his brother a glare, as Ran rubbed my back, comforting me. "Get out. Let me talk to her," he said.

I buried my face into Ran's shoulder. Ran hummed, looking at me, "I don't think she wants to talk to you right now." "Then she can deal with it! I wanna apologize, dammit, I feel bad! Let me talk to her!" Ran looked at him, surprised. "Well, I mean you basically already did."

Rindou groaned, and pulled his brother away from me, and shoved him out the door. "Be nice, Rin," he called as Rindou gave him another push out the door and slammed it shut.

He sighed then walked back to me, sitting down to face me. I was avoiding eye contact, so he grabbed my face, turning it to look at him. "Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say all that, I just got mad." "But it's true, isn't it?" I asked, my voice still shaking. He sighed, wiping away the tears on my face as more kept coming. "No. Well, honestly, yes. But not that severely." "Then why are you always being so rude to me? I'm sorry if I did anything to upset you, but it kind of hurts."

He stared at me for a second, and then pulled me into an awkward hug when I wouldn't stop. "I'm sorry. I just don't know how to deal with someone like this. I just felt kind of hurt too when you decided to run away. I thought you didn't mind it here, and I was mad earlier because I didn't watch you close enough to make sure you didn't try to escape. It's just me being angry with myself then reflecting it onto you. I know it's mean, so I'll stop. Honestly, I just don't want you to leave us like that. It's kind of nice with you here," he confessed, resting his chin on top of my head.
