The lights of our bikes blared as we swerved between the cars on the highway, hair blowing, leaning forward, and our jackets displaying the Toman symbol. Baji was somewhere behind me. I had changed into my Toman uniform with a hoodie underneath after school. Baji and I had decided to race to the meeting since he said he was faster than me. I was currently winning, obviously.

I looked back, opening my helmet, revealing my smile. He rolled his eyes at me, and leaned forward more on his bike to get ahead. I turned back to the front, and swerved around two of the cars in front me. We continued racing through the roads, and we got there within seconds of each other. "I win!!" I laughed happily, removing my helmet, and freeing my wind blown hair. Baji put the kickstand up on his bike. "Only because you cheated!" I smirked, "Did I now? Be honest, Keisuke." He grumbled, and walked away, which was his way of admitting defeat. I giggled to myself as I followed him up the stairs, towards the meeting. It didn't seem like it had started yet, but most everyone from each division was there, standing in little groups, talking, and pretending to look intimidating. I saw Mikey, Draken, Mitsuya, Takemichi, Baji, Smiley, Angry, Chifuyu, and many other people I knew. As soon as I started walking down the middle road towards where Mikey was, the whispering started.

"That's the Dragonfly. The one I told you about earlier." "Her? The girl? You sure?" "Yeah, why?" "Nothing." "How do you not know the Dragonfly?" "No, I do know her I just haven't ever seen her in person before." "Yo, she's pretty." "Hush, she'll hear you." "Okay, and?" "Can she even fight?" "No way that's the Dragonfly everyone talks about." "Yeah, I've been in Toman for months now, but I've never seen her fight." "But look at the back of her jacket, though, it's clearly the Dragonfly's." "I've seen her fight before. Only once though, but she's super good." "You sure it was the same person?" "Do you think she'd give me her number?"

Although it hurt, they were right. I don't normally fight, but I'm at the meetings. But just because I don't fight doesn't mean I can't fight. Truth is, I want to, but Mikey won't let me. He said I could only do so if it were an emergency, otherwise I'm not allowed to in Toman. It's because he believes you shouldn't be hurting women (as if these fools could even get near me smh). And I mean, its respectable of him. But I now have rep of just sitting in the back during fights and spectating. I'm not really fond of that. I'm not exactly part of a division either. I'm just kind of here, y'know. I took my place on the step below Mikey's as he stood, and everyone fell silent.

He started announcing that we had a fight with Roppongi, which was the only thing that struck my interest. Because guess who leads Roppongi? Someone who should not be named, and who's also my ex. I was too busy thinking about how awkward it was going to be, so I didn't really pay much attention to what was going on and why we were fighting them in the first place. It's not like I'll be fighting anyways. When everyone started shouting, it brought me back from lala land. "YEAHHHH!!l" "LETS GO TOMAN!!" I looked over at Mikey, who was smiling at me. I returned the smile, as the meeting ended.

"I kind of wanna see her fight this time." I turned to look at the person who said that. "Bro, I think she heard you." "Do you need something?" I asked, getting tired of this bs. " N-No, sorry." I took a deep breath, walking down the steps, towards him. Some people around us got quiet, watching to see what was happening. "You were saying something weren't you? Say it to my face." He mumbled something. "What? Speak up?" I dragged on.

"Her voice is hot." "Dude, shut up." "I'm gonna ask for her number later." "What's up with you?"

I ignored the whispers, keeping eye contact with the guy in front of me. "I was just wondering why you don't fight." "I do sometimes," I shrugged. "Yeah, but not all the time, and you still have a higher position than us. How do we know if you deserve a higher position?" I scoffed. "It's because I'm stronger than you." He gave me a look, "I don't think so." "Why? You must have some reasoning?" I asked calmly.

He seemed to be getting impatient now. "I don't know? Because I never see you fight, like I said before. And you don't look like you're that strong either. I bet I could beat you right now. Someone else should be the Dragonfly." I heard Baji laughing behind me, as he entered the little circle of people we had gathered.

"You think she can't beat your ass? Why don't y'all have a fight right now? My moneys on Y/N," he suggested.

I turned back to look at him, and he nodded, "Okay, bet." Not waiting for a countdown, he swung his fist, which I swerved under, and elbowed his side before he could turn around. He staggered a bit, and I took that chance to sweep his feet from under him. He landed on the ground, holding his head. "Well, that ended pretty quickly. Kind of disappointing," I shrugged, putting my hands in my pockets and standing over him as he rubbed his arm. "Damn..." "Is that good enough for you? Or do you still want to try out for the Dragonfly position?"

Baji cackled behind me, and walked up patting my back. "Awesome.." "Oh my gosh, did Baji Keisuke just compliment someone?" I teased. His smile dropped dramatically, "Don't make me take it back L/N."

We continued our conversation as we exited the little crowd around us. "Did you see that Mikey!" Mikeys face was blank, but he nodded. "C'mon, y'all, let's go get ice cream," called Mitsuya. Most of Toman had gone home by now. It was just the captains, and a few others. Us three followed them down the steps, towards the parking lot. "Hey, wait up!" Baji had gone ahead with Mitsuya so it was me and Mikey who turned around.

It was one of the guys who was whispering earlier. "Aye, can I get your number?" Well. Now what do I say? "No you can't," Mikey answered for me, grabbing my wrist, and leading me away. We walked in silence. Awkward silence. "Uh, Mikey-" When we stopped in front of the steps, he slid his hand into mine, pulling me closer to himself. Our faces were inches away from each other, and he simply stared into my eyes blankly. But the moment was over as soon as it started, and he just booped my nose and walked away smiling.
