Everything slowly fell back into schedule. The second week of break, we all got together in the morning to open presents.

I even hunted Hanma down to go give him one. He played about his gift to me being a kiss but then later pulled out a wrapped present. I tried to find that guy from the playground that day, but I had no chance to go there since I was busy with all my friends and family members. Of course, I still went at night, and guess who I found? The strawberry guy from the park. I ran up to Izana and gave him a gift. He was a bit surprised at first that I had remembered him, but there was no way I could've forgotten. He doesn't seem like the type to smile much but I swear I saw a small smile that he tried to hide as he handed me a present too.

The holidays flew by. In fact, they flew by so fast that I forgot about our plan to bake the teachers Christmas cookies.

The council had decided that the teachers should be gifted as well, so we all had decided to bake them things. I was in charge of cookies, that I totally had not forgotten about. What kind of council president would that? Not me, of course.

I was sitting in my living room on the couch next to Mitsuya and we were playing a two player game on my phone. Mikey, Draken, Baji, and Kazutora were watching a holiday movie. Emma, Chifuyu, Smiley, and Angry were playing a board game.

When I remembered I immediately shot up and ran to the kitchen. Mitsuya stared after me. I rushed to get all the ingredients and Mikey asked, "What're you doing?" "I forgot!" "About?" Draken inquired. "The cookies for the council thing we're doing!" "Baking cookies is part of the council work?" Kazu asked, his earring tilting along with his head. Chifuyu shook his head, "No, you fool. They're probably for the teachers or something." Baji was now confused too, "For the teachers? Man, what about me?" "Baji, how many classes have you taught this semester?" Mitsuya pressed. He shrugged, "I don't know, but I do know that I took four." "You didn't even go to them half the time." "Okay, and?" Everyone shut up!!" I shouted, still pacing around the kitchen while trying to find everything I needed. Mitsuya joined me and helped organize everything and hunt for the ingredients we'd have to use. Kazu joined too, but only to bother me, it seemed like.

"Guys, where are the chocolate chips!?" I shouted to the living room. We had gathered everything, but still couldn't find them after searching the entire place. "I can't find the brown sugar either!" Kazu added. "It's right here, Kazutora," Mitsuya sighed. "I don't know. Mikey had them last," Emma shrugged.

Mikey threw his hands up, "I did not touch any chocolate chips." I sighed and went to the other lounge area to ask my parents where they were. They didn't know either. Well, I guess we're making sugar cookies. But that's not the vision here!

I sighed, then remembered something. Last year, during the summer, me and Mikey tried making cookie dough and he had put the chocolate chips on top of the cabinets for some strange reason. I sighed, standing on my tippy toes, backing up until I could see the very edge of a bag. That might be it!

I climbed onto the counter, stood up and reached over the cabinet. My fingers pushed the corner of the bag away. I groaned.

"Y/N, what're you doing up there?" Chifuyu laughed. "They're up here!" Mikey gasped suddenly, "I remember doing that last year!" "Now, who puts chocolate chips on top of the cabinets? You can put them inside y'know?" Emma shared. Her brother rolled his eyes, "Thank you for telling me. I never would've known that."

Kazutora put a hand behind me in case I fell. I still couldn't reach them. "I can't get them." Kazu slightly lifted me up and I barely grabbed them. "Whew. Guys, I got them!" He set me down lightly, making sure I don't hit anything.

I jumped off the counter and started whisking everything together while Mitsuya did the other part. Draken eventually got bored of the movie and came to help. Soon, Mikey joined. Then Smiley. Then everyone else. And now the kitchens a mess.

Baji kept trying to eat the ones in the oven, so now Mitsuya is guarding them. I'm making the second batch, that Drakens helping me with. Emma and Mikey were spectating but eventually got into a fight and started throwing flour at each other so now it looks like it snowed in here. Kazutoras trying to help but handing me the wrong ingredients. Smiley and Angry are surprisingly good at baking so they've been in charge of cutting the cookies, except they got carried away by their creativity and now we certain cookies that are shaped like a gorgeous tree from a fairytale and some that might resemble a shape if you squint hard enough. Chifuyu is in the corner somewhere, organizing the chocolate chips as drawings while the others guess them. Baji and Mitsuya eventually got carried away and started making dishes, so now there's carrots next to the vanilla extract and everything's getting mixed up.

It was a bit chaotic but the cookies were finally done and packed away. We even cleaned up the kitchen before my parents saw the mess we made. Well, it was mostly Mikey and Emma using kitchen materials to throw at each other. That's why I hid all the sharp objects before they came.

I sighed, crashing down on the couch. Everyone had returned to the living room, and their original activities. Mikey snuggled up next to me, sharing a blanket, still invested in their movie from earlier.

My phone buzzed. It was Senju. She was saying that she missed me and is excited to see me tomorrow. I was about to respond, but Mikey grabbed the phone out of my hand. He scoffed at the message, and handed it back to me. "You guys are so mean to each other," I noted. "Well, yeah." "Why, though? Like you two are both so strong, so you could practically run Toman by yourselves. And your personalities are similar in a way." He sighed, snuggling closer to me, shifting the blanket slightly. "She's just...She's too close to you. I don't like how she's always giving you hugs and always near you and all that." "I mean, we're pretty close friends."

He shook his head, dropping the subject. Mikey also despises Ran. He never cared for him much before, but when we were dating he'd always seem upset if I brought it up. After we broke up, he hated him even more. Ran doesn't know that though. Mikey just secretly resents him. He never tries to hide it in front of Ran, but then again Rans pretty oblivious.

He rested his head on my shoulder, and eventually drifted off to sleep.
