The next few days, the only thing you'd hear when walked down the hallways was conversations about prom. Everyone was excitedly discussing what their dresses looked like, who their date was, how they were going to get ready, and who they were planning on asking.
I walked to class with Haru, who was also excitedly telling me about what we should before prom. He was planning an after party and wanted me to be there too.
I shrugged, "I'll see. But I might have to stay after prom to help clean up." "Oh come on, please! You can ask Sorla or the secretary to do it. It'll be so much more fun with you there," he reasoned. I laughed at bit at his enthusiasm, "Alright, I'll ask." Haru cheered, as I opened the door to my class. "Bye, Y/N!" "Bye, Haru!"
As I opened the door, I had to pause a bit to stop myself from being face to face with Rindou. I took a few steps back. "Woah!"
"You two suddenly got really close," he said, standing strictly with his arms crossed. "Who? Me and Haru?" Rindou scoffed, "First name basis already? I heard he asked you to prom." I nodded, "He did." Rindou scoffed again, and went to sit in his seat. I simply shrugged it off and went to sit down as class started.

It had started snowing. I almost forgot that it would be winter now. I noticed it getting chilly but the snow was what really reminded me. Everyone was hurriedly walking home before it got worse. I wrapped my coat around myself as I also walked home.
I stopped along the way because I saw a cat. Chifuyu, Baji, Kazu, and I have a rule to stop every time we see one. I crouched down a bit to pet it's head. It was a really cute grey cat but I think I spent too much time with it since the snow started falling way more than before. I ran quickly into the nearest store, hoping for it to calm down a bit so I can continue walking home. I greeted the cashier and decided to look around a bit.
As I walked through the aisles, scanning the shelves with snacks, I noticed a familiar mop of white hair. "Iza?" He looked up, his earring swaying along too. "Oh, hey." "What're you doing here?" I asked, joining him. "I was walking home and the snow got worse so I decided to stop here for a bit." "Really? Same. I was walking back from school. I hope it gets lighter soon. I don't want to be stuck here for too long," I explained with a huff. "Yeah. Me either," he nodded. We waited for quite a bit.
It got boring pretty quickly but I kept myself entertained by chatting with the cashier. Izana's not so talkative so he just stood next to me, occasionally walking around a bit. I sighed, looking at the time.
An idea struck me and I grabbed Izana's hand, pulling him towards the door. "Woahh, where are we going?" "Outside. Let's just book it!" I suggested. "What? You want to run in this weather?" "I mean it's better than sitting here doing nothing, right?" I shrugged. He seemed to think it through for a bit, then also shrugged. "Our house is only a few blocks away. I think we can make it if we run." I giggled, pulling him outside along with me. "Then let's do it."
We both ran through the snow, occasionally laughing at how crazy we must look. I looked around, trying to see through the snow to figure how far we were. A sight caught my eyes and I stopped running. Izana noticed and walked over. "What is it?" I pointed to where I was looking, "It's so pretty." I was looking at the big willow tree in the park, near the playground.
The snow covered each of its branches, making it look almost magical. Izana chuckled, staring at my amazed face, "It is pretty."
"C'mon, let's go over there!" I dragged him along, pulling him by his arm. He followed without protest, smiling at the sudden enthusiasm. I gasped in amazement. "Y'know what we should do? We should build a snowman!"
And so that's how we spent the rest of our time out in the snow. We built our snowman, danced a bit, took pictures, all of that. We coughed a bit, trying to catch our breaths as we walked into their house.
"You guys are gonna get sick. Cant believe you didn't take me with you," Shinichiro scolded, standing in front of us with arms crossed, shaking his head in disapproval, mostly at the fact we didn't bring him too. Grandpa Sano also scolded us a bit, then sent us to take warm baths and made us hot chocolate. Emma was taking a nap and Mikey was with Takemichi.
Shinichiro went back to his room and Grandpa Sano went back to their dojo as me and Izana were in the living room, watching a movie. I noticed him on his phone and wondered what was so important that he wasn't paying attention to the movie.
I caught a glimpse of his screen and saw him looking at pictures of some girl in the snow. Honestly I felt a bit offended but- Wait, hold on second. I glanced at his screen again. That's me. They're the pictures we took with each other.
I decided to ask, "Are those the pictures we took?" I moved closer to see them better. "Yeah, they turned out really good." They did, in fact, turn out really good.
There was one of our snow angles together, and one where he gave me a piggyback ride with snow falling everywhere. There was another one of me, about to throw a snowball at him and one where we were dancing together with a bunch of snow falling in the background. They did turn out amazing.
"These are too good for me to not use them," he pointed out, opening his settings. He began putting the one of us dancing together as his wallpaper.
"Oh my gosh, we can have matching ones!" I smiled, setting mine as the same picture.

"Argh, how many left?" Senju groaned, walking behind me, holding my bags as I scanned through some of the shelves, looking for decorations. Our decorations for prom were almost done, but the prom committee was pretty busy planning so I decided to go out and get some of the things we needed.
Since Senju was usually always in the council room, I dragged her along to the mall too. "A lot, actually. We've barely covered a third of the list," I responded, inspecting some of the balloons to see if they would fit the theme. Senju groaned again, and walked out the store, sitting in the some of the couches in the mall while I got the things.
We walked into a different store on the other side and I noticed some familiar uniforms. Toman uniforms. And they're not just regular Toman members it seems.
I ran up to the figures and threw my arms around them. Mikey exclaimed a bit, and seemed irritated until he turned around. "Oh, it's just you," he smiled, sighing in relief. Draken nodded, "What's up?" "What're you guys doing here?" "Oh, us? Uh..Ken-chin what were we doing? Oh yeah, we're-" "Getting shoes." "Meeting a friend."
I looked between them at their answers since they both answered something different. Draken gave Mikey an irritated look which Mikey returned. "We're getting shoes then meeting the friend," Draken said, nodding as if he's trying to confirm the statement.
I hummed in suspicion then shrugged, "Okay, well. We're gonna get back to our stuff." I smiled, pointing at Senju who was standing next to me, hands in pockets, seeming bored.
Mikey narrowed his eyes, "You're with her?" Senju scoffed, "Yeah, and you're talking to him?" I sighed, knowing the little rivalry they have.
I grabbed Senju's shoulders, turning her around in the direction of the other store, before waving to Mikey and Draken. "Alright, let's get going." Senju abruptly turned around, wrapping her arms around me. "I'm so tired, Y/N," she sighed, resting her head on my shoulder.
I was a bit surprised at the sudden hug, but then again, it's Senju. I noticed how much more close it was. Her arms were wrapped around my waist while one of her hands was on my back. What I didn't notice was the glare she gave Mikey, over my shoulder. She smirked, as if rubbing it in his face that we were hugging. She pulled away and grabbed my hand, eagerly pulling me into the next store.
I hummed a bit, wondering what that interaction was about.
