Miami

I yawned, stretching my arms, taking a sip of my chocolate milk. My parents were driving me to the airport right now.

Mikey, Baji, Draken, Emma, and Mitsuya had come over the night before. I told them about going to Miami and said that I was just going with a friend as a regular vacation. They seemed pretty convinced except for Mikey.

But here I am, eating my breakfast in the car at four in the morning, heading towards the airport, since my flight is in two hours. I gave my baggage to the lady and got the boarding pass, after saying bye to my parents. They told me to call them everyday and text every hour. I found Ran and Rindou waiting at the gate. The two of them seemed a bit nervous.

"Hey, Y/N. Good morning," Ran greeted. "Hey," Rindou said. "Good morning," I yawned, taking another bite of my bagel that I was eating in the car. "You ready?" He asked his brother, nervously tapping his foot on the ground. Rindou shook his head, "Not exactly." "You guys sound so scared," I giggled. "Easy for you to say. They love you," Ran said, leaning back and putting his arm over the back of the chair next to him.

I had gotten another seat on the plane, farther from the two, since I didn't exactly have to hang out with them right now. We started boarding a few minutes later and we all headed to our seats. I didn't talk to them during the entire flight. I was sitting a few seats ahead of them, next to some lady and just slept the entire flight, tossing and turning multiple times. I slept in bits and pieces and woke up about thirty minutes before landing, giving me a bit of time to wake up completely, by stretching and drinking water.

The lady next to me had been working on a work project thing on her laptop the entire time. Or maybe she stopped when I was sleeping, who knows. She didn't bother me much though, so I'm happy about that. She seems sweet.

I felt really groggy though. Sleeping all cramped up like this isn't the best idea. A lot of people had fallen asleep, so it was pretty quiet on the plane. It was currently evening in Miami. The flight attendants started waking people up after a bit though since we were about to land.

"Hey, this is your pilot! Thank you for flying with *insert airline idk*. We hope you all have an amazing time in Miami!"

Everyone was awake now, and there were multiple little conversations going on. We found each other after getting off the plane and leaving the gate. I went to freshen up in the bathrooms before though. We met up at the coffee shop near the main doors of the airport.

"So, where are we going first?" Rindou asked, sipping his coffee. Ran stretched his arms behind his back. "Probably to the hotel. They checked into it this morning, and booked our rooms for us too. We all need sleep after that flight, so we can be fresh for tomorrow. Then the next day we'll be meeting up with them for breakfast," he glanced at me, "Then from there, it's whatever they plan." I nodded, swirling my cup in my hand.

"Alright then. What's the hotels address?" Rindou asked, checking his phone. "I don't know. They didn't tell me," Ran shrugged. Rindou gave him an annoyed look. "You were supposed to have everything figured out by now." The older brother raised his hands up defensively, "I figured out most of it. You do the rest." Rindou scoffed, rolling his eyes, and searching his phone. "Wait, nevermind, I found it."

We headed to the hotel with our bags. The outside looked super gorgeous. The inside was even better. The ceiling stretched high, and an enormous chandelier hung in the middle. The floors were a pretty marble texture and the couches in the lobby were sleek and modern looking. There were a few unique plants and accent pieces as decor. They had a pool, bar, gym, dining hall, a mini golf and bowling area, along with a theatre. It looked a bit like the Haitani's main house.

We checked in and headed to our rooms. Rindou's was on the second floor. Mine and Ran's was on the fourth floor. "Hey, Y/N?" He started, while we were in the elevator. "Yeah?"

"They booked our rooms together." "Like next to each other's?" "Um, no. It's the same room." "We're sharing a room!?"

He nodded as the elevator doors slid open. "At least tell me it's two beds-" "It's one." I gave him a blank stare.

"You're joking." "I'm being so serious." When I didn't say anything he continued, "They still think we're together, remember?" "Right. I mean, it should be fine."

He opened the door to the room and we walked in, setting down our stuff. The room was really open and spacious. The windows were floor to ceiling, and there was a grey circular couch on one side with decorative pillows. The curtains covered half the wall, but you could still see the view outside. From our side of the hotel, you could see the beach. The other side showed the city part of Miami. The bathroom was really nice too. I dropped my bag down and sighed.

I'm so tired right now. I'm gonna take a nap after I shower. I paused as the realization hit me.

Ran and I turned to each other at the same time and started bolting towards the bathroom. "I call dibs!"

"I got in the room before you!" "Yeah cause you had the key!" "Okay, fine! You can go first." I cheered, going inside to take a bath.

I took my time in there, trying to wash off that jet lag feeling. I'll admit, I do feel a lot more fresh and awake now, which is strange since it's almost midnight. I changed into a pair of pajamas, and left the bathroom.

Ran perked up as I walked into the room and then went to take a bath himself. I organized some of my stuff, then snuggled into the bed, playing on my phone. I'll be spending seven more days here. I opened my messages, reading the first ones that popped up.

It was a picture of him holding a box of dorayaki. I smiled at my phone and bombarded him with texts like he did. I opened everyone else's texts and responded to all those too. I hadn't noticed Ran leaving the bathroom, and collapsing on the couch across the bed. "I'll sleep here," he sighed, pulling a blanket over himself and settling in. "Bet."

"Good night, Y/N." "Good night," I replied, turning off the lamp next to me.
