⚠️TW: violence, blood

Ran's still holding my hand, so I'll have to find a way around that. I dropped my phone, and reached down to get it, letting go of his hand. Now, if the plan works...

"Sir, do you know where-" Yesss! Some guy who works there started talking to Ran. Now maybe I can slip away.

I stepped away, and walked towards the other hallway, keeping an eye on them two. I turned another corner. Okay, so I'm good now. I'm now walking through a hallway filled with little conference rooms and glass windows. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and ran into somebody. "Oops, so sorry."

"Oh, it's my fault- you don't look like you work here?" The guy asked. I shook my head, "I don't. I'm here with the executives." He gave me a confused look, "Then aren't you guys supposed to be on the fourth floor?" I heard Ran's voice coming down the hallway, calling my name. Uh oh. I grabbed the guys wrist and speed walked further. "Where are we going?" He whisper yelled, getting the message to be quiet. "I'm trying to get away from them." He shook his head, "You can't. Everyone who comes here tries than never walks out." I scoffed, smirking, "Then I guess I'll be the first."

He sighed, then shook his head, "Fine. I can help you. But don't tell them, okay? I don't want to get caught up in all this." I smiled at him, whispering yelling, "Really?! Thank you! You're amazing." He made us go down the left hallway, then take another right turn, and enter an elevator. "We can go to the garage floor. They'll probably look there last," I suggested. He disagreed, "No, because if you wanted to run away, that's where you'd go first. You should go somewhere on the second floor, since they rarely ever go there, because of the meetings and work everyone in the company does there." I nodded, "Okay. That's pretty reasonable."

We rushed out the elevator and he led me to an empty conference room, letting me hide in a storage room there. "There's a meeting here in about two minutes. They might not come in here since there'll be other people. Good luck," he sighed. "Thanks for helping me. Means a lot." He shrugged, "You seem like you can escape them. You're welcome." He closed the door and a few minutes later I heard the door opening and many people walking in and starting to discuss advertisements and stuff.

My hearts beating really fast right now. It only took them about five minutes to realize and suddenly the entire building was in chaos, trying to find me. That random guy was right. I could hear the people in the conference talking about the commotion and they mentioned them checking all the floors with exits in them first.

Y'know what? Since this is just the second floor maybe I could break the window and land alright. Actually, it might be best to scratch that idea for now. The people outside also were discussing how they probably wouldn't interrupt the meeting but then someone else walked in and told them that the executives were searching every floor and room now, including the conference rooms. Uh oh.

Well, i'm in a storage room, so maybe they won't search in here if they're in a rush. But, then again, you can't underestimate them. Also, these people don't know that they're working for Bonten. Only a special group here do, and I guess the guy who helped me was part of it.

My arms were literally shaking and my breath was fast. I'm pretty nervous right now. I can feel my heart beating so fast too. I took a deep breath. It's always good to stay calm. I need to think this through. If they're looking everywhere then I probably have about two minutes. Maybe I can go hide in the restrooms. But I don't know where anything is in this building. They know this place inside out. I took another deep breath. Maybe if I used the stairs and went to the roof after they've already checked there. My idea was interrupted by a familiar voice shouting down the halls. "I said find her!"
