My eyes were still wide. Halata ang gulat sa 'kin. He smirked at me and pinched my nose bago ako hinila at niyakap, ibinaon nito ang mukha ko sa dibdib niya.
"Matulog na," bulong nito.
I bit my lips and just closed my eyes. I don't know what to say.
Marry at the end of this semester? Hindi ako handa! I don't think I can marry him without me feeling the same way as what he feels for me.
I sighed and hugged him tighter.
"Sleep well, Cha," he whispered and kissed my head.
Yumakap ako ng mahigpit sa bewang nito at mas ibinaon ang mukha sa dibdib niya.
I don't want to think about other things. Especially this, that my father's now dead.
Nakatulog ako habang marahan niyang hinahaplos ang buhok ko. The next day, I woke up when he woke me up. It was still early.
"Wake up, honey," malambing nitong pag gising sa 'kin.
I opened my eyes and sit on the bed. Inayos ko muna ang buhok ko bago tumayo at pumasok ng banyo. I showered and changed my clothes. Maaga akong pupunta doon kahit mamaya pa ang funeral.
"You don't have to come, Gage." I told him.
Hindi naman sa ayaw ko siyang sumama pero mukha kasing mas okay na wag na siyang sumama sa 'kin doon. Besides, he doesn't know how funerals here happens.
He sighed, "I'll bring you there. I'll fetch you after, too."
"Wag na. I can manage. You should explore the place while I'm out."
"Not interested," he boredly said. "I'll bring you there. Wait for me, okay?"
Napanguso na lang ako at naupo sa kama habang naghihintay dito. Dumating rin yung room service kaya ako na ang nag ayos nun para makakain na agad kami pagkatapos niya.
Nang ready na kami pareho ay umalis na kami. He was holding my hand as we walk out of the hotel.
"Where will I fetch you later? Dito pa ba?" Pag tanong nito habang naglalakad kami.
"Huwag mo na akong sunduin, Gage. Besides, hindi mo naman ata alam kung saan iyon, eh." I said, calmly.
"I can manage. Tell me, please?"
I shook my head, "'Wag na, I'll go home immediately after. Then... let's go out?"
"No, we'll stay inside. Bukas na lang tayo lumabas." He softly brushed my cheeks.
I sighed and just nodded.
Tinignan ko ito sa mata ng makarating na kami sa pupuntahan. I was trying to read him because I feel like he won't follow what I said.
"I want you in the hotel when I arrive." Pinanliitan ko siya ng mata.
He licked his lips before smirking, "Naked?"
Napakurap kurap ako at namula sa sinabi nito. Napahalakhak siya at agad akong niyakap para maibaon ang mukha sa dibdib niya.
"Gago ka!" Pinalo ko ang dibdib nito
He chuckled and hugged me tighter, "I'm just making you laugh... Sure, I'll be naked once yo— ouch, baby!"
Mas lalo akong namula sa pinagsasabi nito. Kinurot ko na nga ang tagiliran niya, eh. Iyong masakit na talaga!
"Stop it!"
"I will stop now." He lowly chuckled, "I love you, okay?"
"Yeah," I whispered, "I'll love you, too."
