Late na ako nagising kinabukasan dahil hindi pa rin kami natulog agad ni Gage. We even saw the sunrise before he fell asleep, hugging me from the back and face burried in my back, too.

It was such a beautiful experience. Calm and therapeutic.

"Hey, good morning," his voice sounded husky.

Ang gulo ng buhok nito ngayon. Kakagising niya lang rin. Sa sofa siya natulog kagabi, ako ay sa kama niya muli. I know I said we can give each other a chance again but it's okay not to be too fast. I want it to be slow this time. I want us to take our time.

Alam kong hindi naman agad mawawala ang sakit ng nakaraan. To be honest, it's still here. The pain and everything. Kaya gusto kong dahan dahan because I want us to heal together, to move on together, and forget the pain. Remove the pain.

It's gonna be hard but trying together will be better.

"Good morning," mahina kong sabi.

"Hungry?" He asked.

As if my tummy heard that it made a sound, wanting to be heard.

I pouted, "Yes," nangiti ito at napatingin pa sa tsyan ko.

"Okay... Let's eat downstairs."

I just nodded and stood up from the bed. Maging ito ay tumayo na rin.

I went inside the bathroom to wash myself and do my routine first. Nang lumabas ay nakita kong nakahilamos na rin si Gage. He looked freshed but his hair still looks messy. Ayokong ayusin iyon dahil ang gwapo niya talaga pag magulo ang buhok.

"Let's go,"

I bit my lips when he even offered a hand. Inabot ko iyon ng dahan dahan. Napasinghap siya ng magkahawak ang kamay namin at naging mariin ang hawak doon bago ako hinila palapit sa kanya at lumabas.

Tahimik ulit sa baba nang makarating kami. Sa dining area naman ay naka ready na agad ang mga pagkain. It's already past lunch kaya hindi na ako nagulat na kami na lang ang kakain.

"Where are your... parents?" Nag iingat kong tanong.

Until now, I still don't know how to address them. Also, I'm confused if they're okay with me or not. Because I felt insulted but later on felt like they're okay with me.

"In the office. They're busy." He shrugged.

"They're really a King and Queen, right?" Maingat pa rin ang boses ko.

He stopped putting food on my plate to look at me. I pursed my lips before looking at him, too. Medyo kinabahan pa ako dahil baka mali ang nasabi ko. Maybe its offending for them, hindi ko alam.

Nakakatakot naman pag walang alam! You don't know if things are appropriate to say and do.

"Hmm, yeah..." He whispered, "About that," He sighed and smiled, "Sorry for not telling you before. About my background."

I bit my lips and looked away, "You were hiding. It's fine..."

"I trust you, Cha. But I believed you didn't have to know that, yet. I was wrong. Maybe if I told you, we would have been..." He didn't finish his sentence anymore, not wanting to say it but already knowing I understood.

"Kaya lagi kang naka hoodie?" I asked, changing the topic so it won't be that heavy.

My chest felt heavy for so long. I don't want to feel it anymore. Masyadong malungkot, mabigat.

"Yes, I was hiding my face." Marahan nitong sabi, nagpatuloy na ulit sa paglagay ng pagkain sa plato ko.

I watched him do so.
