MORNING.
I felt something heavy on my stomach. I opened my eyes and saw his arms around me. His face was just a few inches away from my neck.
What the hell? What is a man doing in my room?
I was going to scream before I realized I just got married and that this is his room.
The pillows were gone. He crossed the boundary.  I was so pissed now.
For a moment I didn’t move. I looked at him. But then I realized that I hate him.
I wanted to push him away so bad but he looked so peaceful while sleeping. I didn’t wanted to wake him up by pushing him away. Instead I slowly and carefully lifted his arms and covered him with the blanket.
Why the hell I’m even caring about him? I thought while getting up from bed.
I stare at him for a moment and whisper, "I still hate you."
After getting fresh I got out of the bedroom. I didn’t knew where was the kitchen. Just then Donna come for my rescue.
“Good morning, dear. The breakfast is ready. I was just going to set the table.” She said grinning.
I smiled. “I’ll help you.”
“No. There are maids for it. And besides hotshot would get angry if he’ll know that you’re in the kitchen on your first day after wedding.”
I rolled my eyes.
“He’s always angry. I don’t care about him. Let’s go. I really want to help you.” I said pleading.
“Right. He’s angry at times. That’s why I call him hotshot.”
We both laughed.
She took me to the kitchen.
I was surprised by the view. There was a chandelier on the top of the main counter in the middle of the kitchen. The cabinets were of cream and brown color. There was also a window which gives the view of the lawn outside. The woodwork was amazing.
And the dining room was also incredible. A long dining table with lots of chairs. A chandelier on the top. Little light lamps hanging on the wall. Large sized windows with curtains.
“He designed this house just the way you like it.” She said as she put the tea cups down on the dining table.
My past. She must be talking about it.
“Wait… do you know about it too?” I asked curiously while setting the plates.
She nodded while giving me a warm smile.
Just then he entered the dining room. Our eyes met. He was wearing a suit.
“Good morning.” He said while smiling and coming towards me.
“Good morning.” I said.
“Did you sleep well?” he asked as he drag the chair out for me to sit.
“No.” I lied.
I sat.
“Why is that?” he asked with concern in his voice.
“Why did you crossed the boundary?” I ask him with an angry face.
He laughed.
It’s the first time I’ve heard his laugh.
And it’s… hot.
What the hell Emilia? You’re supposed to hate him. He ruined your life. I thought.
“I never said that I won’t.” he said while serving me a freshly baked muffin.
I rolled my eyes.
Why is he caring for me? Why the hell are we behaving like a normal married couple? This isn’t supposed to go this way.
“I hate to tell you this but I’m going on a business trip for two days. After I’ll come, we’ll go to Italy. . My grandparents want to meet you.” He said.
Again business trip? Wait…. I shouldn’t care about that. I don’t even want to spend time with him.
I nod.
“Your mother’s parents?”
“Yes.”
I hesitated.
“Do you miss her?”
He paused.
He looked at me.
“Sometimes.”
I didn’t ask anything further.
After breakfast he told me that Donna will show me the villa.
“Where’s your ring?” he asked while putting on his coat.
I checked my hand. It wasn’t there.
Oh… I forgot to wear it after I washed my hands. It must be on the dressing table.
But why does he care about that?
I was about to go and find it there when he comes to me and took my hand.
He slipped the ring in my finger.
“I want it in your finger Mia cara, not anywhere else. Understand?” he asked with a straight face.
Whenever he says ‘Understand?’ I feel so controlled.
I nodded anyway.
He stared at me for what felt like forever. After that he left.
