“Emy. I think you look the most beautiful one here.” Alicia said while looking at me up and down.
“Definitely. I'm sure his eyes will never leave you tonight.” Mia teased.
I was wearing a plum colored dress. It was a long beautiful embroidered gown. I wore the earings. Alicia did my make up. And yes. She forced me to apply a red lipstick. Even redder then the one we were fighting for today’s morning. More like a vampire red.
“Alicia, can you please lighten that lipstick?” I asked.
“Don’t even get started. You know I’m not gonna do that.” She said while applying blush on my face.
“Emy, did you guys kissed? Mia asked curiously.
“No.” I said.
“Then you must let him have your first kiss.” Mia said.
“Maybe.” I said.
“Girls ,let’s go now. Sweetie your father and I are going. You three will come with the driver.” Mom said.
Mom was wearing her brown dress. That she wore on her engagement party. It was gorgeous.
“Okay, Auntie.” Alicia said.
We head straight to the car. The gown was pretty heavy. Also the earings are ripping my ears apart.
I’m so nervous.
“Emy, don’t be nervous. You just have to put the ring on.” Alicia said calmly.
“I know. I’m just nervous.” I said.
We arrived at his mansion. A really big mansion. Why does only a few people live in this huge mansion?
“Wow.” His voice bring me back to reality.
I blushed by the way he was looking at me. Up and down.
He offered me his hand. I hesitantly took it. I don’t know why but I  feel like something is wrong.
I brushed it off.
“You look stunning.” He said.
“Thank you.”
“You look handsome.” I said.
“Thank you.”
“You guys can stop doing formal greetings now. You’re going to be a couple.” Alicia said.
I rolled my eyes.
He noticed it. He just smiled.
The decorations were eye catching. There were flowers everywhere.
The event was held in the lawn. Fairy Lights were everywhere. His mansion looked like home. Ours looked more like a showcase. Dad always bought ridiculous fancy looking interior.
We sat at the decorated area. It was so beautiful. At the wall there was a huge ring of light and inside it, there was written, 'Engaged! Emilia and Vincent' with today's date. Everybody was waiting for us.
“I think you two should exchange the rings now. But where is Hadrian?” His dad said.
“Dad, he is gone for some important meeting.” Vincent said.
“He always work so much. He doesn’t even have time for his family.” His Mum said.
“Mum, he’ll be here after some time.” Vincent said to her.
After some discussion we decided to exchange rings.
He slip the sparkling diamond ring in my left hand ring finger.
I did too, but embarrassingly my hands were shaking. Everyone was looking at me. I was so embarrassed.
We exchanged the rings.
“Sweetie, you okay?” mom asked.
“Yeah, it’s just chilly outside.” I said.
Even though it wasn’t that much cold.
Now we’re practically a couple. Bounded by the rings in our hands.
