Miray felt like her feet barely touched the ground as she walked downstairs, Luke's arm wrapped warmly around her shoulders.

Both were smiling hard.

However, once they entered the kitchen where everyone was seated - apart from Kaiden and the twins, Miray felt a bit shy, scooting closer to Luke and burying her face in his hip sheepishly.

Steven has just seen her pulling Emily's hair... he must think she was a crazy girl.

What if he doesn't want his brother to hang out with her anymore?

Miray shook her head and scolded herself for always being so pessimistic.

Luke pulled her closer as he smiled at her adorableness.

"Hey there~" Steven called with an amused smile, "I don't remember I got my hug?" he said, opening his arms.

"That's unnecessary." Ren rolled his eyes, gaining a pinch from his big brother. "Ouch, hey!" he hissed, glaring at his brother.

Ren tried to punch his brother's arm, but the latter quickly got him in a tight hold, locking Ren's arms around his own waist and holding him close so Ren's back was leaning against Steven's board chest.

Steven shrugged, resting his head gently on his shoulder. "Well, I never get one from you." he said, ducking his head to bit the younger's-shoulder lightly, ignoring his hisses and groans of protest. "At least your friend's happy to offer one. Right, Mira?" he looked at Miray with hopeful eyes.

Ren tried to elbow his brother, but Steven was holding him in place effortlessly. He huffed frustratingly, knowing he had no chance against his brother.

Miray's cheeks flushed pink, and she buried her face further into Luke's side, who chuckled, "Go say hi, love." he nudged her gently.

Miray pulled away, cheeks already red as she walked to Steven with a sheepish smile on her face. "Hi~" she said softly, unsure how to give him a hug with Ren in his hold.

"Hi, sweetheart. Don't mind him and give me a hug." he said gently, adjusting Ren with one arm and pulling Miray a little closer with the other arm.

Miray accepted the hug and wrapped her own arms around Steven's neck, pulling away to kiss his cheek.

She felt extra generous today, so why not.

 "See, I hope you can teach this kid some tenderness." Steven teased, grinning at his brother, who was glaring back at him.

Ren rolled his eyes and managed to free himself, pulling Miray away from his brother as well and going to sit far away.

Steven let him, shaking his head in amusement, and shifted his attention toward Luke, asking him about something related to work.
