Miray stepped into the elevator, her eyes locking with Rayan's before the doors could close. Her trembling lips betrayed the emotions welling up inside her, and despite her efforts to hold on, tears threatened to escape. But as the elevator sealed off the outside world, her defenses crumbled once more.

And she broke down once more.

She was falling apart...

Barely breathing.

Hurt, miserable, and consumed by loneliness, she yearned for Vince's presence.

She yearned for him with every fiber of her being.

She craved his comforting embrace, his smile to reassure her, and his ability to gather the shattered fragments of her being.

Miray was only hanging on because he was there with her, she was only hanging on to his promise that they will navigate this life together.

He was her anchor in the stormy sea of life.

Her entire existence was intertwined with his presence because he was the very thread holding her fragile life together

Without him by her side, she felt like a lone voyager adrift in the vastness of the ocean, gasping for air as her dwindling oxygen supply slipped through her fingers. She sensed herself drowning, suffocating in the absence of Vince's presence, lost and desperate for his companionship.

Without him by her side, Miray teetered on the edge of collapse, feeling as though she were slowly fading to black... on the brink of perishing.

The emptiness without him was suffocating, akin to being stranded in the vast depths of the ocean, where every passing moment robbed her of precious oxygen.

She felt herself drowning, desperately seeking Vince's presence to anchor her in the storm.

As the elevator doors opened, Miray stepped out, her tear-stained face now exposed to a sea of unfamiliar faces. The realization that she was alone in this crowd triggered a sudden wave of panic, crashing over her like a torrential storm. The air felt suffocating, as if it were constricting around her, and a paralyzing fear gripped her heart.

The fear of being kidnapped and separated from her brothers consumed her, leaving her trembling with every fiber of her being. She struggled to catch her breath, her body frozen in place, unable to escape the grip of terror.

With her hand pressed firmly against her racing heart, Miray fought desperately for each breath. In the midst of her panic, she realized that this was the first time she had ever been so desperate to stay alive, not out of a love for life itself, but because she had a purpose to fulfill.

She held onto the promise she had made to give a part of her liver to Vince before her own demise.

"Hey, are you okay?" a voice called out, placing a hand on Miray's shoulder. Startled, she let out a piercing scream and instinctively fought for her life. Her fight-or-flight response kicked in, and she screamed, kicked, and struggled to break free.

"Hey, hey, calm down, please, Miray, calm down, it's just me," the voice pleaded desperately, holding onto her.

Oblivious to the voice, and not being able to recognize to whom it belonged, Miray continued to fight, but then she saw Dylan approaching them, and she desperately called out to him.
