Vince's blood boiled, his fists clenched tightly as he cursed.
He wanted to kill him.
People like Nick were nothing but parasites, and parasites were born to get killed.
"That *******," Vince spat, his voice laced with venom. "He's not getting away with this shit."
"Vince, calm down," Samantha pleaded as she grabbed his arms, trying to hold him back, but he was a volcano ready to erupt.
"Don't ****** tell me to calm down," Vince snapped, shrugged her hand off, his voice seething with anger.
Nick's mocking face flashed before his eyes, igniting the fire within him. The urge to do damage burned fiercely in his chest.
As Samantha's hand brushed against his slightly bleeding lips, she recoiled with anger at the sight of his injury. "Your lips are bleeding," she commented, her frustration directed at Nick for causing such harm to such beautiful lips.
Vince forcefully pushed her hand away, a low growl of frustration escaping his lips. "Just leave," he gritted out, his tone sharp and commanding.
"I'm sorry, he was just joking around, I'll make him apolog-" Samantha tried to ease the tension, but her words just fueled Vince's anger even more.
"Joking around? Are you **** kidding me!" Vince seethed, his voice dripping with venom.
Samantha instinctively took a step back, her eyes widening with fear as Vince loomed over her.
Noah quickly stepped in between them, "Hey, man, it's okay. Calm down," he urged, placing a calming hand on Vince's shoulder, trying to bring him back from the edge.
Samantha approached Vince cautiously, her hand reaching out tentatively towards his arm.
Vince pulled away, "It's better if you get inside," he said curtly.
"I'm sorry for what happened," Samantha apologized, feeling a surge of anger towards her cousin Nick for causing trouble between her and Vince. "I w-"
"Just get inside now," Vince interrupted, his voice firm. He wasn't in the mood to discuss it further.
Samantha nodded, swallowing back her own frustration, and reluctantly turned to leave.
As Samantha left, Vince paced back and forth, his hand running through his hair in frustration.
After a brief moment of tense silence, he turned sharply to Noah, his anger flaring once more. "You're not coming back here to work, got it?" he seethed, lunging forward to grasp Noah's arm and pull him closer. His eyes blazed with fury, but beneath the anger, a hint of something more profound lingered – a flicker of panic and fear.
"Okay, I won't, just relax." Noah assured, his features softening.
Vince wasn't calming down, as if he wasn't even listening to what Noah just said. "You won't ever come closer to these places again, kitchen or shit, you're not working again," he continued seething."Okay, I won't get closer to these places again," Noah agreed, trying to calm Vince. "Just relax," he added, attempting to reassure him. Then, he smiled a bit, "Besides, I'm not weak and I can fight-" Noah was taken aback when Vince's arms enveloped him in a tight hug.
"Idiot," Vince sighed, his hand over Noah's head, the other on his back pulling him closer to his chest.
Noah allowed himself to relax in Vince's arms and reciprocated the hug. It was rare for them to show such raw emotions, but it felt oddly comforting. After a few seconds, Noah pulled back, attempting to change the subject.
