TADA!
It's a surprise~
I decided to finish a chapter before I sleep!
Enjoy!!!
Noah and Kaiden arrived first, their faces filled with worry as they saw Miray lying down while Rayan sat on the ground, his gaze fixated on her.
He told them that she was simply sleeping, which brought them some relief. However, a trace of guilt lingered within them for leaving her side.
Vince, Dylan, Alex, Luke, and Damian arrived soon after, their voices filled with boisterous chatter, celebrating Vince's hard-earned victory. Alex proudly held Vince's championship belt, a gleaming symbol of his triumph.
Vince's hair was damp due to the recent shower he had taken to freshen up after the match. He had to maneuver through the sea of reporters and fans that had gathered from all sides, eagerly hoping for a glimpse of him. With the help of Luke and Damian, he successfully slipped away from their prying eyes and made their way back to his room.
Though their smiles immediately fell as their eyes landed on Miray, who was lying down while the boys gathered around her with evident concern etched on their faces.
Vince's heart skipped a beat, his expression hardening as he quickly knelt down beside her. "What happened?" he asked, his eyes focused intently on Miray.
"She's just asleep," Noah was the one to reply as the other two waited for him to do so.
"She's just asleep," Noah was the one to reply since Kaiden and Rayan remained silent. They always didn't interfere when the brothers talked to each other.
It was a familiar feeling for them, the sense of being an outsider, for they didn't truly belong to the family that bound the brothers together.
Vince's fingers gently brushed against Miray's hair, his touch filled with both tenderness and concern. "How did she fall asleep?" he asked, puzzled by the timing of her slumber while he was in the middle of the match.
It seemed strange to him that she would sleep while he was engrossed in the intensity of the match.
All eyes turned towards Rayan, who felt a wave of guilt wash over him as he prepared to recount what had happened earlier.
When Rayan reached the part where the guard was about to touch Miray, Vince sprang up from his kneeling position, and paced around like a caged animal, pulling his hair back and muttering curses under his breath.
The mere thought of Miray - scared and alone - made the veins in his neck throb, ready to burst, as his blood surged through his veins like molten lava.
The bastard...
His hands clenched into tight fists, his knuckles turning white with anger. The overwhelming urge to find the guard who had frightened his sister and unleash his fury upon him consumed Vince's thoughts. However, before he could storm towards the door, Luke intercepted him, holding him firmly in place. Luke's piercing gaze bore into Vince's, a silent warning evident in his eyes, urging him to reconsider his impulsive actions."Calm down," Luke urged, his voice steady. "The guard was just doing his job, maintaining security. We don't want to create more trouble by engaging in a confrontation." Luke's rationality and composed demeanor served as a reminder to approach the situation with a level head, tempering Vince's fiery impulses.
