^Miray.
Vince's phone abruptly rang, joltinghim from his peaceful nap. Stirring from his sleep, Vince groggily reached for his phone, muttering a curse at the unknown caller under his breath. His annoyance escalated when he noticed Miray waking up as well, her expression reflecting the disturbance caused by the incessant ringing.
He let out a sigh as he saw Alex's name displayed on the screen. "What?" he answered the phone, running his hand through his hair and turning around to look at Miray's cute sleepy face, only to find her looking back at him with her doe-like eyes.
A warm smile spread across his lips as he couldn't resist the adorable sight before him. She was the epitome of cuteness, and Vince had missed her immensely. Words couldn't capture the depth of his longing, so instinctively, he reached for her hand, craving the reassurance of physical contact.
He wanted her near, needing to confirm that she was there with him and not just one of his dreams.
Miray snuggled against him, finding a sense of peace in his arms. As her head rested on his chest, she could hear the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, a sound that always felt different and uniquely comforting to her. It was as if his heart carried a special melody that resonated with her own. The soothing rhythm lulled her back into a peaceful slumber, her body relaxing in the safety of her brother's arms.
"You mean you're already here?" Vince asked, his voice tinged with a touch of exasperation. "I've already told you not today."
Miray stirred from her slumber, her eyes fluttering open at the sound of Vince's irritated voice. She lifted her head slightly to get a better view of his expression, still nestled against his chest. She listened intently to their conversation, her curiosity piquing by his unexpected reaction.
Who was he talking to?
"Okay, I'm coming down," Vince replied abruptly before ending the call and placing the phone on the bedside table. He turned his attention to Miray, noticing her concerned expression. "It's just Alex, he's downstairs," he reassured her, pressing a gentle kiss on her forehead.
Miray's eyebrows furrowed in confusion and concern as she processed Vince's words. It was unusual for Vince to sound annoyed or bothered by Alex's presence. She couldn't help but wonder why her brother's demeanor had changed so suddenly. She gazed up at him, searching his eyes for any hint of explanation, silently urging him to share what was really going on.
However, Vince appeared unwilling to reveal any information.
"I'll be right back. You can go back to sleep," he whispered, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and planting another tender kiss on her rosy cheeks. It was as if he couldn't get enough of her presence now that she was with him.
Miray nodded and gave him a soft smile. She settled back onto her pillow and gazed up at the ceiling, a gentle smile adorning her lips. She felt a sense of contentment and relief now that they had reconciled and made amends.

Vince opened the door and greeted his friend with a nod, gesturing for him to come inside. They made their way to the kitchen, where Vince poured a glass of water for himself and another for Alex.
