Chapter before the last (I guess lol)

I thought this would be the last, but I wrote too much *chuckles nervously*

I always get carried away...

Miray and Vince walked into the living room,  a cozy intimacy enveloping them. Vince's arm draped affectionately around her shoulders as he guided her towards the seating area. Miray clasped onto his hand, her other arm wrapping around his waist as she nestled against his side

"You guys ready?" Vince asked, addressing Kaiden and Noah, who were bickering about something.

They both paused and turned their gaze towards the couple. Their eyes immediately sought out Miray, who offered a shy smile and a wave, instinctively leaning into Vince, who instinctively drew her closer.

The four boys - Rayan, Ren, Noah, and Kaiden - all sighed, their tension easing as they observed Miray's smile. It was obvious Vince was successful in changing her mood.

"Well, get your asses moving," Vince said pointedly, gently pressing Miray against his side and covering her other ear with his hand to prevent her from hearing the curse word.

Noah rolled his eyes. "We have kids here, Mr. potty mouth," he retorted, shaking his head as he moved towards the entrance to put on his shoes

This time, it was Miray's turn to roll her eyes, though she opted to remain silent. Vince followed Noah to the door, gently pulling Miray along with him, while Kaiden lingered behind, trying to suppress a smile at the tension brewing between Rayan and Ren now that they were left alone in a closed space.

"Be good kids, okay?" Kaiden teased, addressing Rayan and Ren, who shot him glares that only made him grin wider.

"Ay, don't give me those adorable looks," Kaiden cooed as he tousled Ren's curly hair.

"Get lost," Ren shoved his hand away, shooting him a fierce glare, which only made Kaiden laugh even harder, much to Ren's dismay.

"Love you too, Sweetheart," Kaiden said affectionately before turning to ruffle Rayan's hair, who barely reacted, inwardly rolling his eyes.

Unlike Ren, Rayan knew how to handle Kaiden's teasing better—by ignoring him until he lost interest.

Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't, but Rayan hoped it would work this time.

"Don't kill each other while I'm out, okay?" Kaiden said before leaving, chuckling at the awkward glances exchanged between the two before they attempted to act as if the other didn't exist.

Deep down, Kaiden felt a pang of sympathy for Miray, who had to deal with the constant tension between them. Despite their constant bickering, he held onto the hope that deep down, they cared for each other in their own way— or at least that's what he hoped as he cherished them both dearly.

Sighing, Kaiden walked to the front door, where Vince and Noah were now playfully wrestling, while Miray stood nearby, chuckling as she watched them fondly.

"Hey, precious," Kaiden said gently, trying not to startle her.

Miray turned to look at him with her radiant grin, clearly feeling much better as she watched her brothers play.
