Damian spent the night in Miray's room, supervising her health and keeping her temperature down, though Miray stubbornly held onto Noah for dear life.

Her body was getting hotter, and snuggling against someone else wasn't helping.

Not having any other option, Damian gave her a sponge bath, unintentionally drenching Noah's clothes in the process.

He looked apologetically at his younger brother, feeling a bit bad for making him do something he didn't want to do - or at least that's what Damian thought.

No matter how much he loved his sister, Damian hated disturbing his younger brother. He knew Noah felt uncomfortable near Miray and preferred to keep his distance.

And although Damian wished the two would make up and get closer, he didn't want to force it. He preferred to give them time until they decided it themselves.

Damian always felt worried about his little brother. He knew he was suffering from nightmares, and instead of the bubbly and carefree kid, Noah had grown introverted and distant.

It broke his heart and made him feel guilty and responsible for it.

Noah's personality changed drastically, and Damian couldn't help but question if it was because they all focused on their sister's condition and neglected him.

Were they really neglecting their little brother?

When they were younger, Damian sometimes thought his brothers favored his sister over Noah and instead of doing the right thing and taking care of his brother, Damian would be harsh on his sister for no reason.

Maybe that was why she got a bit distant from him and never trusted him fully as she did with Vince and Luke.

Damian knew what he was doing wasn't right. He knew Miray had no control over how her brothers treated her, and she never asked to be favored or treated differently. If anything, it was their fault.

But then again, Luke and Vince always told him they weren't differentiating between them as in favoring one over the other, but treating them differently because they were different and required different treatment.

Miray was warm, adorable, cuddlesome, kissable, huggable, snuggly, and loved physical contact. She had no problem expressing her love for others.

Noah, however, hated physical contact and felt highly uncomfortable hugging and cuddling his brothers.

It wasn't like they hugged Miray and neglected Noah. It was just that Noah didn't like being hugged, while Miray yearned for it.

They weren't the same.

Now Damian felt bad for mistreating Miray for being loved...

How could he do such a vile thing?
