As Miray slowly opened her eyes, the world swam in a blur of disorientation. She felt a wave of dizziness wash over her, accompanied by sharp pains in her body. Her senses were heightened, and amidst the confusion, she couldn't fully comprehend what had happened or where she was.

The air was heavy with fear, and her heart raced with uncertainty.

A familiar metallic scent lingered in the air, mingled with a sharp and stinging odor that was foreign yet unsettlingly distinct. It was the unmistakable smell of blood, reminding her of times she didn't want to remember.

The violently bitter scent of gasoline added another layer of discordance, merging with the metallic tang and creating a jarring combination that assaulted her senses.

Summoning her courage, Miray forced herself to survey her surroundings. A glimmer of relief washed over her when she spotted Vince lying nearby.

For a fleeting moment, she believed they were simply lying in bed together, but as she looked closer, a knot of unease tightened in her chest.

Something was different about Vince.

Her discomfort intensified as she realized her body wasn't resting on a comfortable surface. It felt distorted and painfully uncomfortable, sending waves of discomfort through her every movement.

With growing trepidation, Miray cast her gaze around the scene, her eyes landing on the shattered remnants of their car. The memories of the accident flooded her mind, crashing over her like a relentless wave, and her heart leaped to her throat as she realized something.

Vince wasn't peacefully asleep beside her; he was unconscious.

The gravity of the situation hit her with full force, igniting a surge of panic and fear.

"V~" Miray cried, her trembling hands fumbling with the seat belt in her desperate attempt to free herself. She yearned to be closer to Vince, to reach out and awaken him from his unconscious state. "V, p-please wake up," she pleaded, her voice filled with desperation and anguish.

Fear gripped her heart, and panic threatened to consume her. The surroundings felt dark, chilly, and ominously eerie, sending shivers down her spine. Miray's terror was so overwhelming that she felt on the verge of a heart attack. The uncertainty of the situation amplified her fear, leaving her trembling and vulnerable.

"V, please! I'm scared," she sobbed, her voice quivering with each word. The intensity of her desperation grew, and she found herself on the brink of hysteria. The darkness seemed to close in, heightening her sense of isolation and vulnerability. Miray's pleas became more frantic, as if her very existence depended on Vince's awakening.

"V- V, wake up! I'm scared," she continued, her voice cracking with anguish. Tears streamed down her face, mixing with her sobs. She implored him to respond, to provide her with the comfort and reassurance she so desperately needed. The weight of the situation was unbearable, and the thought of being left alone in this terrifying place threatened to shatter her.
