{Breathe Again}

Miray regained consciousness in a hospital bed, but this time the memories of what had transpired rushed back to her with painful clarity.

"V!" she cried out, sitting up abruptly and succumbing to tears. Noah, Kaiden, Ren, and Rayan quickly gathered around her, having been waiting in the room with her.

Steven eventually decided to tell Ren, not wanting to prevent him from the opportunity to support his best friend during this difficult time.

Noah, already on the bed, embraced her tightly, understanding the need to anchor her in that moment of distress to prevent her from losing her balance.

"I want V, Noah," Miray sobbed, clinging desperately to his t-shirt.

Noah's hand caressed Miray's back, his touch gentle and soothing. "Shh, it's alright. He's o-okay," he reassured, though deep down, he knew Vince's condition was anything but okay. He felt compelled to lie, though, wanting to offer Miray some semblance of comfort and stability.

Ren and Kaiden remained by Miray's side, their gentle touch soothing her and their words providing comfort and reassurance. Meanwhile, Rayan remained on the sidelines, observing silently... like always.

Miray's focus was solely on Vince. She persisted in asking about his condition, urging Noah to tell her the truth.

Eventually, Noah gave in.

"He's okay, but his liver is failing. He needs an immediate liver transplant," Noah informed, his heart heavy with the realization that he couldn't donate his own liver to his beloved brother.

"I will donate!" Miray declared with determination, already attempting to rise from the bed. However, Ren gently pushed her back, mindful of the IV line in her hand.

"Relax," Ren said with concern. "We will all do a donor evaluation, including my dad, Steven, Kai, Rayan, and many others who are willing to donate. Don't worry, there must be someone compatible."

Still, Miray insisted, "I want to be tested too!" She pleaded with Noah, her eyes filled with desperation. "Please remove the IV," she implored, unable to stand the sight of it.

Despite the attempts of Noah and the others to calm her and persuade her to keep the IV in her hand, Miray grew increasingly agitated and distressed.

The sight of the IV only intensified her misery. Understanding her deep discomfort, Noah made a difficult decision, andwith trembling hands, he gently removed the IV from Miray's hand, his heart heavy with concern.

Miray continued to cry out for Noah to take her to Vince, her distress escalating with each passing moment. She needed him to breathe, to exist. Yet, the others failed to grasp the depth of her pain.

No one truly comprehended the depth of Miray's pain.

They were unaware of the immense love she held for Vince, and they remained oblivious to the regret and guilt that consumed her.

It was her harsh words that had led to the accident, and she blamed herself entirely.

Miray experienced a level of pain that surpassed anything she had ever felt before. It surged from the depths of her being, a raw and profound torment.
