Hey~
It's been a long time, I know, but I had/still have some personal things that I don't want to talk about. I hope you guys are doing great, I really missed u ❤
Miray woke up feeling dizzy from the pain - A pain she'd never felt before.
She was shaking from the torment, body aching all over. She tried to focus on something other than the pain in vain - It was killing her.
She felt like throwing up, and Luke's arm around her waist wasn't helping.
"L-Lou," Miray choked out, trying desperately to make a sound.
She didn't know if she'd succeeded or if she had just imagined it.
She felt dizzy, and it hurt too much to speak.
Luke didn't stir, and Miray felt like crying.
She tried to speak again, but the pain took her breath away.
Cold.
Miray felt cold and sick.
Pain coursed through her body, and she winced, crying miserably while trying to shift her body. "L-lou," she managed to choke through the pain.
Oh, Lou, please...
"Rei?" Luke's dazed voice echoed throughout the dark room, and Miray moaned in pain, unable to speak.
Luke immediately sat up, focusing his gaze on her. "Rei, love, what's wrong?" he asked worriedly, reaching to turn on the lights.
The room wasn't dark, but still, Luke wanted to see her clearly.
"S-sick," Miray panted, voice barely audible, "T-toilet." she choked, gagging for a moment.
Luke quickly stood up, carried her, and rushed to the bathroom.
He placed her down near the toilet, pulled her hair out of her face, and rubbed her back soothingly while she threw up everything she had managed to eat in her aunt's house.
Or at least the remainings...
She felt sick, ill, nauseous, exhausted...
Pain filled her head, ripped through her chest, and blossomed in her midsection.
"What's wrong?" Vince asked from the doorway, panicking when he saw his sister's pale features and current state.
Luke helped Miray to the sink to wash her mouth while Vince stepped inside and flushed the toilet. "What happened?" he asked again, his worried eyes never leaving his sister's face.
She looked extremely ill. Vince's heart broke at the sweat beaded on her forehead, the flush of her cheeks, and the glassy look in her tired eyes.
"I don't know," Luke stressed, wrapping one arm around Miray's waist for balance and trying miserably to pull her silky hair back.
Vince stepped closer and helped tie Miray's hair into a messy bun. "Rei, can you hear me?" he asked, guilt blooming inside of him and twisting his features.
Miray moaned in pain, eyes closed. She was utterly relying on Luke's body for balance, unable to stand on her own.
Her head was so heavy, and she couldn't move it.
"C-cold," Miray managed to choke out, teeth chattering.
Luke touched her forehead and cursed, "Vince, call Damian." he urged, not looking away from his sister. "Shh, it's okay, you'll be okay." he soothed, trying to sound calm despite how nervous he felt.
