Hey there!

This chapter has taken more time and effort than I expected, and I'm not quite sure why... I just feel like sometimes I feel so lazy and not motivated enough to write, knowing that it won't get much feedback anyway...

Also, I've noticed that the later chapters have fewer votes, even though they're just as good as the earlier ones. It's puzzling to me, and I would appreciate your input.

As for the ones who are always supporting me, thank you so much for being part of this project! Your words and encouragement mean a lot to me! You would never know how much it means!

As the days continued to unfold and a week slipped away, Miray's happiness blossomed with each passing day as her bond with Noah grew stronger.

Noah, finally granted entry into Miray's personal space, seized every moment of it. He eagerly sought opportunities to engage in conversation with her, craving more of her presence.

It was as if he couldn't get enough, constantly yearning for additional moments together.

At breakfast each morning, Miray and Noah would exchange playful banter, cracking jokes that had them both in fits of laughter, even if they were about the silliest things.

On occasion, they would gang up on Vince, teasing him and playfully provoking him until he could no longer resist. This would spark an energetic chase around the kitchen, with Vince hot on their heels, as laughter and squeals filled the air.

Their happiness was evident as they couldn't help but smile the whole time, much to the twins' dismay, especially Emily, who struggled to understand the newfound closeness between them. However, she couldn't do anything... yet.

Similarly, Rayan struggled with his emotions as he witnessed the deepening closeness between Miray and Noah. No matter how much he tried to convince himself otherwise, a sense of bitterness and heartache crept into his being, fueling a growing resentment within him.

Rayan found himself consumed by anger, unable to pinpoint exactly whom he directed it towards—Noah, Miray, himself, or perhaps the universe as a whole.

He just couldn't understand... why?

Why did Miray choose to forgive Noah and not him?

In fact, deep down, Rayan understood. Oh, he understood it very well. Though, a sense of injustice gnawed at him.

It simply wasn't fair.

Fueled by another burst of laughter between Miray and Noah, Rayan's frustration peaked. In a sudden and forceful motion, he stood up, causing the chair to topple over, capturing the attention of everyone in the kitchen, who looked at him with surprise.

"Sorry," he muttered and calmly fixed the fallen chair before grabbing his backpack and storming outside, seeking an escape from Miray's presence and the overwhelming emotions that engulfed him.

"Hey! Wait!" Noah and Kaiden called out as they ran after him.

They couldn't comprehend Rayan's behavior or where he was walking to. They always went to school together, whether picked up by one of the brothers or occasionally taking the bus, so they couldn't understand what he was doing.
