"I'm hungry!" Miray whispered, her breath still heavy from the tickling match with Noah.

"I'm thirsty." Noah whispered back, his smile stretching from ear to ear. It felt as if he could conquer any challenge at the moment as his sister smiled at him, his heart filled with pure delight.

"That too," Miray giggled softly, trying to keep her voice low.

"Let's go," Noah said, standing up and extending his hand to Miray.

Miray took his hand, feeling a surge of energy in her. They walked out of the room, their laughter echoing through the hallway as they headed to the kitchen, ready to satisfy their hunger and quench their thirst together.

They paused when they saw Vince and Luke in the living room. Luke was reading some files, deep in concentration, while Vince relaxed in an armchair, casually flipping through TV channels. The room was peaceful, with only the faint sounds of the television breaking the silence.

"Hey, you two minx, why are you still up?" Vince exclaimed as he noticed Miray and Noah, his eyebrows raised in question.

He and Luke had previously been engaged in a serious discussion about Vince's new business deal. Luke, being well-versed in legal matters, provided Vince with valuable advice on how to handle the documents and the specific clauses he should pay closer attention to in the contracts.

After the conversation, they settled into a comfortable silence, each engrossed in their own activities, lost in their thoughts.

In reality, both Luke and Vince were waiting for Damian's arrival as he had a late shift. And although he always insisted on them to sleep instead of waiting for him, they never did.

Luke, in particular, disliked the thought of Damian returning to a dark and empty house devoid of a welcoming presence. And even though Damian was now an adult, Luke still felt a sense of responsibility towards him, a deep-rooted need to ensure his well-being.

Vince often pretended he was watching TV, concealing his concern for Damian, but both Damian and Luke could see right through him.

"Miray's battery is almost empty, she needs to be recharged." Noah joked, making Miray burst into uncontrollable laughter as if it was the funniest thing in the whole world.

Noah couldn't help but laugh along with her, his worry forgotten as he joined in the moment of pure joy.

Luke and Vince exchanged a glance, a mix of relief and surprise crossing their faces as they witnessed their two younger siblings laughing together.

"Where's my charger? I need to be plugged in, or I'll die," Miray joined in the playful banter and playfully flopped onto the sofa next to Vince, pretending to be lifeless.

The three brothers cringed at Miray's choice of words, and Vince gently tapped her head. "Don't say that," he scolded lightly, a mixture of amusement and affection in his voice. He couldn't help but smile at the sight of Miray's exaggerated antics, finding them both amusing and endearing.

"Are you hungry, sweetheart?" Luke asked, setting aside his files and casting a loving gaze toward Miray. He then glanced over at Noah, who was sitting on the table in front of Miray and Vince, laughing so hard when Miray sat up, acknowledging Luke's question with a nod, then resuming her playful act of pretending to be dead.
