Chapter 21

Tay walked calmly into Bangkok Medical Centre. He usually spends time here when he isn't busy. Pick up the director for a meal or spend time inside the director's room. When he is walking inside the building straight to some of nurses or doctor who walked passed him bowed politely to him. 'I don't think I've spent too much time here. How come everyone knows who I am?' Tay wandered. While being occupied the question on his mind, his legs still taking step.

Tay knocked the door several time before bring himself in. New look at the person who goes inside his room, "What are you doing here? Is your dad fine?" Tay smirked and walked straight to New. He's standing in front of New, and both of them being separated with New's table. Tay extending his body slightly to the front and say, "How come I never saw you wearing glasses before? And I'm not gonna lie but you look hot wearing glasses and concentrating on your work."

New's face went red because Tay's comment. Actually, I have a few questions for you," Tay said as he sat in the chair in front of New. New take of his glasses and raised his eyebrows. "Do you prefer date on the beach or mountain or probably an amusement park? What are your typical date activities? Do you prefer chocolate or flowers?" ask Tay seriously. New look at him disbelief. "You came all the way in here just to ask that? That!! A phone call can provide an answer to these types of questions. Alexandre Graham Bell invented the telephone so you could ask me a question without having to come all the way here and annoy me!"

Tay extended his hand, signalling to New to calm down. "Relax... I'm kidding. We hadn't seen each other in a few days, so I came here. I just missing you." New is beaming. "You don't go to work today?" New inquires. He puts his glasses back on and refocuses on his laptop. His hand busy typing something on his laptop. "I come to see you first. So I have energy to work for a whole day" Tay reply. Tay's gaze never leave New. He's smiling see how focuses New.

"Now you already see me. What else do you need?" say New. He stand up sit at the end of the table where Tay is sitting. Tay, please stand in front of New. His right hand is fiddling with New's necktie. "Can I hug you" ask Tay. Tay's right hand is caught and put down by new. He's smiling and extending his arm, signalling Tay to embrace him. Tay quickly embraced him. "One day, I will ask you to kiss me, but that can wait." Tay says without breaking the hug.

New break the hug, "I'm the type of person who won't kiss someone easily unless they're my lover." "Then, I have to work harder to become your lover." New put his hand around Tay's neck, "Aren't you? Or what do you think we are?" "I still remember that you say we are friends" reply Tay. New shake his head and say, "Friends don't do this." New captured Tay lips. Tay wrapped his hand around New's waist and continued to kiss him.

They keep continue kiss until someone just barge in and say, "New, do you kno..." The three of them were freeze. Off was smiling sheepishly. Tay quickly let New go and excuse himself. Off bring himself to sit at the sofa but his eye still on New. "Sorry" say Off but he really didn't mean it. New gave a long sigh before sit at the sofa in front of Off. "What brought you here?" ask New. "Yeah... I came to talk about Singto. Remember those guys who attacked Gun? When I told Singto about it, he went insane. After that, I pick up Gun and inform him that Krist and Singto may be fighting." Off quickly inform New. New raised his eyebrow, "You sure about that?" ask New. And Off nodded.

"It's okay. I'll just met him up later" New say. He already expect about this but what's the problem between Singto and Krist. "Singto seems like not in the mood so be careful" add Off. New nodded.

Flashback 15 years ago

Ever since he was kid, Lee Thanat was raised from morning until night only by his maids and butlers. He didn't go to school, the teachers came to his house. He always wonder where were his parents, but never got an answer. Until he gradually grow up without even care about his parent. At least not until today, his father's lawyer came to his house and explain everything.

"So, I was born out of wedlock?" ask Lee Thanat. "Actually, it is true. Let's just put it this way. Your mom used to work as your dad secretary. And your mom always love him and stay by your dad side even your dad love someone else. Unexpectedly, both your mom and your dad had one night stand. And after that night, your mom were pregnant. Because your dad was afraid about your life, that's why after your mom giving birth to you, he put you here" Explain the lawyer. He look at Lee Thanat who look so confused.

The lawyer added, "After a lot of things happen, they were married and moved. They want to bring you along but do you remember that you refused to leave. You said they were not your parent. After some time, they moved back. At that time, your mom was pregnant with your brother but fated was not her side. While on her way to hospital, she died along with her child. And your dad told me not to inform you because he knew how much you hated them. So, he kept continue living. A weeks ago, your dad also died due to heart attack."

And Lee Thanat feels like his world was crushing. First he never feel their love. Second, they already gone. He feels like he want to cry but there's no tears to shed. "Before he died, he leave all his property under your name. And he told me to give you this" the lawyer speak again. Handing one envelop to Lee Thanat. Lee Thanat pick up and open it.

After reading the letter, he finally cry. After done crying, his eyes begin to twitch. He stand up, "I find everyone who did this. I'm not gonna let them go." Everyone in the room just look at him quietly. And after that, Lee Thanat declare that the war is starting again.
