Chapter 45

Krist returns home with a heavy feeling in his heart. Today is full of events. The truth he has been seeking has finally come to light. And everything he appears to believe is incorrect. "The only things lies in my life was the truth of my dad's death. While you had to face the lie about your whole existance," Krist pondered alone. He recalls seeing Singto at funeral looking a little thinner than the last time Krist saw him. Krist sat on the edge of the bed, holding his phone, debating whether or not to call Singto. Krist was debating whether or not to go check on Singto after the funeral. Krist, on the other hand, lacked the courage to do so. Because, after all, it was him, Krist's fault for hurting Singto.

"I'm sorry if I offended you. I'm sorry for making you cry. And I'm sorry I left you," Krist said before breaking down in tears. Krist couldn't remember the last time he was happy after leaving Singto that day. He only remembers crying almost every day. Krist was finally brave enough to call Singto after a long sigh. He could hear the other line pick up the call after a few seconds. But none of them bother to say anything. They were silent and didn't say anything. 'Please say something,' Krist hope. However, the other line remained silent. Krist hung up the phone with a heavy heart.

"You hurt him. What do you expect from him, Krist?" Krist pondered. Krist was lying in his bed. He clutches his phone, hoping that Singto will call him back. Krist waited all night for Singto to call him back, but Singto never did.

Singto pulls up in front of Krist Café. He rolled down his window and stared into Krist's room. "Do you know how much I miss sleeping next to you?" he asks, smiling. "But I'm curious if you feel the same way," Singto muffles. Singto's phone rang while he was watching Krist from his car. He checked his phone and saw an incoming call from Krist. Singto quickly answered the phone, but Krist remained silent. He only stayed to hear what Krist had to say, but Krist didn't say anything. Krist hung up after a few moments.

Singto's heart began to contract. "I guess I got the answer," Singto said again. He had previously answered his own question. He continued to stay until nearly 5 a.m. He then started the engine and drove away. His gaze is fixed on the road. And he was adamant. 'I will put an end to everything.'

Krist awoke very early. He quickly showered, dressed, and left. He drove straight to Singto's house, no, to their house. When Krist entered the house, he noticed that it was unusually quiet. "Hello. Is there anyone home?" exclaim Krist. But he did not respond. He slowly makes his way upstairs. He didn't see anyone, though. His foot kept taking steps straight to the Singto room. Krist slowly opened the door, but he saw no one inside.

Krist was about to shut the door when he noticed something on the nightstand. He entered the room and sat on the bed. A picture frame he got for Singto, a ringbox, a little note, and Singto's ipad were on the nightstand. Take the ring box and the note, Krist. The note instructing him to open the iPad. Krist did as he was told and opened the iPad to find a video. He quickly started watching the video. Singto is seated at the foot of the bed in the video.

"Erm, hi. I'm not sure who will watch this video, but I hope it's Krist. Krist... I can't express how deeply I regret everything. I sincerely apologise. There are no words to express how sorry I am. Actually, I wanted to give you my gift for our anniversary, but I realised I couldn't. Why? Because nothing is the same anymore." Singto took out the ring box, which Krist is also holding. "Actually, I had planned to propose to you that day. But I didn't get the chance. Nothing had been the same since you left me that day. And I've made up my mind right now." Singto sighs before continuing. "I'm ready to let you go. I'm completely letting you go. Don't worry, I'll stop bothering you. You are now free; you are no longer bound to me. Please lead a happy life. And if anything were to happen to me, please bury me next to my father, Uncle Mark. Also with the ring. Thank you for everything. I love you."

The video has already ended. Krist sobs while clutching the iPad. He was terrified that Singto would leave. He took out his phone and dialled Singto's number, but Singto's phone was turned off. Krist, take everything and leave. He drove directly to Off's house. He will not let Singto go this time. As how much Singto do to keep their relationship, that how much he would do to save their relationship.

He rang the bell when he arrived at Off's house. Reveal Off, who was surprised to see him here. "Did Singto show up?" Krist asked quickly and without wasting any time. "No," Off says, shaking his head. "Why? What happen?" Off ask. "Singto has already left. I tried calling him, but his phone was turned off. And I have a feeling he's doing something stupid," Krist said, shaking. "Ha! What do you mean by that," ask another person behind Off. Off turned around to see Gun standing behind him. Off saying, trying to calm them down, "Okay, relax. Let's go find Tay. He knows everything, so he must know where Singto is," Off reasoned. Gun running, getting ready. Off quickly called New to asking about Tay's address. New gave Tay his address and said he was going there as well. Three of them dashed to Tay's house.

Tay keep watching the video until the end. He lets out a sigh. Tay was about to leave for work when he received a call from New saying he would be there. Off, Gun, and Krist are among the newcomers. Tay invited them inside and Krist began told them what had happened. "So no one can contact him?" Tay inquired. Everyone is shaking their heads. Tay sighed once more before proceeding. "I'm not an expert in tracking phone numbers or anything, but my team can do it. I work as a private investigator, so I have someone who is knowledgeable about this things. Let's go to my office," Tay suggested. Following that, the remaining five of them drive directly to Tay's office.

They are currently sitting and waiting. They are already at Tay's office. Tay rushes them to the meeting room. He gathered everyone and instructed them to find Singto. Krist was waiting for them to find Singto anxiously. "I found it," one of them exclaimed. "Put it on the big screen," Tay suggested. That man nodded and did as Tay instructed. "This is his last stop before turning off his phone. I also discovered that he had received a text message indicating that they should meet there. And he instructed Sir Singto not to bring anyone with him and to come alone. Although he deleted it, I was able to track it down," the man explained. They are all staring at the big screen.
