"Aww cute." Jisoo gushes.
I roll my eyes at her.
"I can just imagine little nerd Jennie Kim sitting there, oblivious with her revision notes while her friends are playing spin-the-bottle right next to her."
"Oh, shut up." I laugh.
We're still giggling when I hear little footsteps running into the kitchen.
"Mummy!" Ella calls as I scoop her up into my arms while cuddling her in. Life may be hard but this moment settles me, makes it all worth it.
"Did you have a good day, baby girl?" I ask blowing a raspberry on her cheek. She squeals and wipes her face dramatically. So, I do it again.
"No mummy!" She tells me off.
"More mummy? Well okay then." I joke, going in to kiss her again, only to have her little hand placed across my mouth.
Jisoo cracks up laughing. "Why don't you get her settled for bed and I'll get your tea ready?"
"It's okay, you don't have to..."
"I can cook for my little cousin if I want to. Now as your elder cousin, do as I say."
Getting up, I position Ella to my side so I can throw an arm around Jisoo, while giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks Chu."
