Clingy Koala

Y/N's POV:

My girlfriend, Kate, was coming home today from a long mission with Clint and I was so excited to her. I cleaned our apartment, I got her favorite food, I walked lucky like 8 times. I had to burn the energy somehow.

I walked upstairs to our bedroom, and put on her favorite purple hoodie and some purple shorts when I heard my phone go off. I walk over to grab it and see it's a text from Kate.

Hey baby, we're just now landing, should be home in 30 min tops. Love you 😘

I jumped around a couple times excitedly before shutting my phone off and going downstairs to watch some tv.

It's been about an hour since I got the text from Kate and I was a bit worried but then I remembered what New York traffic is like. I heard a knock on my door, which is most likely Katie. I immediately stand up and rush to the door. I open it to reveal no one, but then I see Clint step out of from behind the wall.

"Clint? Hi!" I say confused but I still go and hug him.

"Hey Y/N! We missed you." He responded.

"We?" I asked and before I got an answer, I felt someone's arms wrap around my waist, pick me up, and twirl me around. I laughed after letting out a surprise squeal when I realized who's strong arms they were.

"Hi baby." I turn with the biggest smile on my face to see Kate. My Kate. Standing in front of me, looking hot, but even more beautiful.

"Katie! I missed you so much!" I exclaim throwing my arms around her again. She laughed whole heartedly.

"It was great seeing you Clint. Get home safe, yeah?" I say and hug Clint before kissing his cheek. He's like a dad to me.

"Of course, squirt. You two be safe to. Love you guys!" He said and walked off the his car.

"Love you too!" We both yell before falling into laughter.

"Come on baby." I say and pull her inside with me and immediately go into our bedroom.

"Wait." She stops, tugging my arm as we stand in the middle of the bedroom. "Are you wearing my hoodie?"

I look down at my outfit and back up at Kate smirking. "Don't you mean my hoodie? I'm keeping it forever."

"Only if you stay with me forever." She chuckles.

"Always." I sigh happily as I wrap my arms around her neck, hers go around my waist, and pull her down for a much needed, addicting, soft kiss from my girl.

"Hmmm. That I missed the most." Kate muttered on my lips, kissing them once more.

"Mhm. I missed this the most." I drag her arm to the bed, gently push her down, and climb on top of her, resting my head on her chest.

"I missed your cuddles. Couldn't sleep without them." I admit.

"Me neither baby. Luckily, we won't have to for a long time." She smiles warmly and kisses my nose making me scrunch up as she laughs at my reaction.

"I love you Katie." I say.

"I love you more."

We lay like that for another hour before Kate decides to unpack her suitcase. Unfortunately, I wouldn't let her. I wouldn't get up, which means she couldn't get up.

"Baby girl..." we lock eyes. "I have to unpack."

"Nuh uh, nope." I shake my head burying my head in her hoodie.

"Oh." She said and rubbed my back. "Is someone feeling like a clingy koala?" I shyly nod my head and buried myself more into her.

"Okay. Come on baby." She says and sits up with me in her arms, carrying me to the desk. She holds me tight when she brings the suitcase over to us. She sits me down on the desk, I start swinging my legs back and forth as she unpacks all her clothes. She would kiss me from time to time or ruffle my hair or carry me for a bit.

"There. All done baby." She sighed in content when everything was out away neatly and nicely. She looks at me while I look at her with big doe eyes. I reach my arms out, and make grabby hands. She laughs shaking her head as she walks over to me, picking me up, and I wrap my legs and arms around her like a koala. We walk back over to the bed and she lays down with me still in her arms.

"My pretty baby." She cooed turning on the tv and turning off the lighted as we cuddle into each other more and more.

"I love you Katie." I smile up at her.

"I love you too, my clingy koala." She nuzzles our noses together before pecking my lips and gently putting my head back into her neck. She rocked me from side to side, rubbing my back and neck, while kissing my head a couple times. After that, I was out immediately, knowing this would be the best night sleep I've ever had.
