Separation Anxiety

Hailee's POV:

Today was the day I've been dreading. I had to leave for a few days for Mexico which made me excited but sad at the same time that I have to leave Y/N. I know how bad her anxiety gets when I'm gone, and I know that she will forget to eat, sleep, and drink water.

I had to leave by the afternoon so since the moment i woke up, at 5, Y/N has been clinging to me the whole time. I don't mind, at all in fact, I'm gonna miss her just as much.

Right now I'm carrying her as I pack all my things together, her face buried in my shoulder wearing the cutest onesie, her legs wrapped tightly around my waist.

"Baby?" I ask, getting a small hum in response from the smaller girl. "You haven't eaten all morning, do you want me to make you something?"

"No. I don't wanna leave you." She mumbled which broke my heart, hearing the sadness in her voice.

"How bout I carry you down for a small snack and then we can cuddle all you want till I have to go? Yeah?" I suggest with a small smile, feeling her nod softly in my chest I carry her downstairs for a snack.

Y/N settled comfortably on my chest, burying her adorable face in my neck till it was time for me to leave. I didn't want to, I hated being away from her, so much.

We stood in each others arms at the airport, both of us sobbing in each others embrace. We were both heartbroken. I missed the top of her head for a long time, never wanting to leave her. I could already feel all the stares of people who knew damn well who we are.

Ella was here with us so she could get Y/N home, making sure she didn't have a mental breakdown in the middle of the airport.

"I love you baby, so much." I whisper in her hair, stroking her cheek as I pull away, seeing her tear stained cheeks with her puffy eyes. "I'll be back in a few days, promise, okay? We'll cuddle all you want, unlimited kisses, and I'll even carry you around like the little princess you are."

My words put a sad smile on her face, chuckling slightly through the tears as I stroked her cheeks with my thumbs, wiping them away. "I love you, Haiz."

"I love you more baby." I give her long, slow, and loving kiss, saying goodbye one last time before leaving my poor baby behind.

A week later, I'm so excited to be going home to my girlfriend. My most precious girl ever in the entire world. Ella texted me and said she's at home sleeping so I pull up in the drive way, quietly walking in.

I see her sleeping on the couch, bags under her eyes which only made me sigh sadly, knowing she didn't get much sleep at all. I walk over, crouching down and placing soft kisses up her smooth arms, neck and face, watching her stir.

Her beautiful Y/E/C eyes slowly fluttered open, her eyes lighting up when she saw me. "HAILEE!!" She cheered, jumping up and tackling me on the ground in the biggest hug ever, I laugh softly, rubbing her back as I wrap her thighs around me, kissing all over her head.

"Hi baby girl!" I exclaim, both of our smiles wide as ever. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too. A lot." She sniffled, my arms tightening around her. "Never leave again."

I smile softly at the shy, pouty tone she used, pulling her face out of my chest to kiss her softly. "Never ever baby." I promise, kissing her again as we both smile into the kiss, me pulling her into my lap, feeling her thighs wrap around me brought so much comfort.

Finally back home to where I belong.
