Y/N's POV:

After putting Hazel and Bj down for a long awaited nap, Reneé and Billie promises they'd take great care of our kids while Hailee and I went on a small vacation to Santa Monica. We mostly wanted to get away with each other one last time before we left California.

Hailee had us drive there ourselves so I was currently bored in the passengers seat and I couldn't do much since Hailee was the one driving. And my god, she was so focused.

I managed to lose a little of my baby weight, not all, I don't have a perfect stomach or anything. But I lost enough to feel good about myself and be a little more confident. Although, Hailee did say that no matter how j looked, I'd always be sexy in her opinion.

Then again she is a simp so I expected that.

After a long ass drive, we finally arrived at this private beach house we'd be staying at. Hailee rented it for us since staying in a hotel wasn't her ideal vacation choice. I couldn't care either way, I was just happy to get some alone time with her.

"In you go, baby." Hailee pecked my forehead as she opened the car door for me. "Go to the house, it's unlocked for you, and I'll get the luggage." I was about to say something but she cut me off. "And no, I don't need your help, you go, princess."

With her insistent nudging, I playfully rolled my eyes and made my way up to the house where I pushed the door open. Inside it was pretty small but perfect sized for Hailee and I. This vacation was all about us. No kids, no friends, no bodyguards, and definitely no stress.

Hailee soon came in with all the luggage in her arms. She seemed to be carrying it inside with ease, no struggle at all. Ugh, she's been working out a lot and that defined body of hers is doing things to me.

Plus, she got blonde highlights. And let me tell you, I can't wait to tug on that when she eats me out.

"How about you go shower while I set our room up?" Hailee suggested and I immediately smiled at it.

"Okay, baby." I excitedly kissed her lips before rushing off to the bathroom.

Hailee's POV:

I waited until the shower began running before running to the room and getting the luggage arranged in our closet and drawers. I pulled out the engagement ring I was hoping to propose with today. I thought of many ideas, perhaps doing it when gets out the shower but I ultimately decided on doing it at the pier around sunset.

It was around another 15-20 minutes before Y/N came out of the shower and walked into the room. "Hi, baby, I got some clothes for you already. I thought maybe we could go down to the pier."

Her face lit up. "Ooh, yes, I would love that." She pecked my lips before dropping her towel to get dressed.

We walked along the pier with our fingers intertwined, lightly swinging them in between our hips. It was just around sunset as Y/N excitedly watched the waves calmly crash over each other. She leaned against the railing and I stood behind her with my arms around her waist.

One of my hands slipped away to look at the ring. I sighed and let all my nerves go as I completely let go, walking backward. Y/N turned to my with a confused smile. "What's up?"

"Well..." I cleared my throat and kneeled down on one knee, Y/N immediately gasped with her eyes going wide. But I didn't see a sign for her saying 'no' in them so I went on. "Y/N, with every waking moment and every breath that I take, I do it for you and our girls. I've searched for a love before, I never thought I'd be able to find and hell, I was more than lucky for it to be with you. You've loved me in my darkest moments and you've cared for me when I thought I was nothing but a Villian. You loved the parts of me that I hated the most and built up this self-love for myself that I didn't know I needed. You brought two little bundle of joys into our world, you've made my heart grow 100 times bigger than it was the first day we met. I can't ever imagine my life without you, and I never want to. Please, say you'll marry me. I wanna be your wife forever, or however long forever is."

"Yes. Oh my god, a thousand times yes, Hailee!" She pulled me off the ground roughly out of emotion and pulled me towards her for a hug. I chuckled when Y/N jumped up, wrapping her arms and legs around me to hug me impossibly close. "Fuck, I've waited for that."

"Me too, love." Her eyes stared into mine as I brushed her hair back. I set Y/N back down and grabbed her hand, gently slipping the diamond ring on her finger. "It looks just as perfect as I envisioned."

"I love you so goddamn much." Y/N cried with a smile on her face, pulling me down for a long kiss.

"And I love you even more."
