2nd Person POV:

It was cold. Dark. You could feel a fever coming on, sweat breaking on your forehead, fear shooting through your body. It felt so strong that it jolted you awake.

You glanced down at yourself; you wore a grey sweater with black basketball shorts. Sweat was drenched all around the collar of your sweater. Your breathing quickened a little as you looked away the containment module.

"Hey." Daisy Johnson tapped against the glass, inside a smaller unit that separates her from you. "You okay? You were screaming in your sleep and shaking uncontrollably."

"I think I'm okay." You sighed and sat on the edge of your mattress with your head in your hands.

Daisy debated for a moment. "Just wait a moment." She pointed at you and you remained confused when she walked away for a good 10 minutes. "Here, consider this a gift from me."

That was all she said before you heard the doors opening and Kate Bishop walked in. "Y/N..." Her eyes softened the second they laid on you.

"Kate? What're you doing here?"

"You're still healing from... you know... did you think for a second that I was gonna leave you?" She asked and you remained silent. Kate playfully scoffed. "You're my girlfriend, I need to make sure you're okay."

"I- well, I'm fine." You collapsed back against the bed. Kate walked towards you, sitting on the edge with her back facing you. For a moment, there was silence and then you broke it. "How many?"

Kate hesitated majorly. You sat up, resting your hand on her chest. "Katie... how many?"

"If I tell you the number, baby, then you can't hurt yourself." Kate met you in the middle and you immediately agreed. "Seven."

Your eyes widened. "Seven? Oh fuck." Your breath hitched as tears formed in your eyes. "A-And you know it wasn't me, right?"

"Of course." Kate chuckled a little, quickly grabbing your hands. "Honey, it was far from you and your fault. Hive just likes to suck rhe lives out of people." She paused. "Literally and figuratively."

"I just-" You stood up for a moment with your hands on your head. "It's hard to live knowing that I killed seven people and I couldn't even fight hard enough to stop myself from doing it."

"You'll regret it for life, yes, but you are a good person. You help people, you help your friends and family." Kate kissed your cheek comfortingly. You melted at her touch — it had been quite some time since you felt it. "I love you no matter what."

"I love you more." You slightly smiled. "Will I ever get through this?"

"You will. Just not alone." She fell back against your bed and pulled you back with her, having you lay on top of her. You cuddled immediately into Kate, the feel of her body was more than enough to make you happy. "I won't ever leave your side."
