Y/N's POV:

Scribbling about in the rustic journal I was given from my mother, I tried focusing in on the beauty of nature in front of me. I was leaned back against a rock underneath a blossom tree, looking straight ahead was a small waterfall. The mist of it lingered around, only added to its beauty.

"It's not quite as beautiful as you are." The one and only, Emily Dickinson, peers out from behind me, swinging her arms above her head to grab ahold of a branch apart of the tree I was under.

"What a charmer." I playfully roll my eyes and continue to focus in on my sketch, but Emily's voice brings me out of it.

"Eh, what can I say? It's apart of my personality." She plopped down beside me, tucking her dress under her legs. Her head leaning on my shoulder as she curiously looked at my drawing. "Trying to draw?"

"Yes." I answered, leaning into her but never looking at her. "It's hard than you think."

"You're right. I can't draw for shit, but..." She trailed off as she face me completely, a small smirk on her face. "I can write poems."

"Writing and drawing are the same thing." I scoffed jokingly and shoved her shoulder lightly.

"Uh, not really!" Emily exclaimed — she watched me stand up and walk a little closer to the waterfall. "How can I help you?"

"You could start by shutting up." I respond, my hand lightly sketching over the thick page of my journal. Emily made a dorky gesture of zipping her lips shut and throwing the key away. She smiled at me before looking up to find something to keep her from behind bored, but to keep her quiet too.

Not long passes by and I suddenly hear Emily let out a loud, dramatic groan causing me to laugh and turn to her. "Babe, I'm bored! Entertain me, please." She smirked and sat up, crossing her legs.

"I'm not your entertainer." I rolled my eyes — I quickly finished my sketch and walked back over to the brunette — plopping down in her lap, she wrapped her arms around my waist.

"Then a kiss shall suffice." Her voice dropped to a whisper, her tone slightly desperate. "Please?" She added for good measure.

I chuckled and cupped her face, pulling her towards me. Emily and I's lips are pushed together in a slow yet passionate kiss. She lets out a groan of satisfaction at the fact of finally being able to kiss me. I just smiled against her lips.

The kiss continues for a little longer before we pull away, breathless. "Mhm." Emily nodded, licking her lips with her eyes closed. I giggled as I tucked a few strands of her messy hair behind her ear. "I'll take some more of these kisses please." I snorted at Emily's playfully behavior, but pulled her towards me again for several more kisses.
