2nd Person POV:

"Mommy?" Your son asked as he ran inside with your daughter. Hailee taking her jacket off as she smiled at you.

"Yes, Nate?" You answer as Nate crawled into your lap. The 4 year old smiled cutely up at you as his tiny hands grasping your fingers.

"How did you and mama meet?" Your daughter, Kate, joined you in on the couch. Hailee say next to you and pulled Kate into her lap.

"Well..."

It was my sophomore year of high school.

And my junior year.

Haiz?

Yeah?

Let me tell the story, babe.

Yes ma'am

Anyway. It was my sophomore year of high school. I was walking down the halls to my locker when someone bumped into me.

"Oops I'm sorry." They apologized to you as you grabbed your books that fell. The person crouched down to help you as well.

And like almost every fairytale or Disney show, our hands touched when we were both picking up my books, we felt a spark...

"Uh sorry." The brunette apologized again to you as you gazed into her hazel eyes.

"It's all good." You waved off. "I'm Y/N."

"Hailee." She introduced and you both shook each others hands as Hailee helped pack your books back into your locker. "What are you doing after school?"

"Nothing. Why?" You tilted your head at her.

The brunette scratched the back of her neck nervously. "C-Could I make it up to you for bumping into you?"

You thought for a moment before smiling. "You're cute." You winked and took a piece of paper from your pocket, grabbing a pen and writing on it. "Here's my number."

So like the confident badass-

Language!

Oh yeah, sorry, kids. Like the confident, bold woman I was, I gave her my number and allowed your mama to take me out. Now what I didn't know was that she had the fattest crush on me already, prior to that interaction.

Hey!

What?! It's true!

You met up with Hailee outside of a cute little cafe after school. The brunette had been seated in the perfect window booth, sipping her coffee quietly as you made your way over to her with a smile.

"How'd you know I would order this?" You asked as she glanced up to see you staring at the drink she got for you. It was a vanilla iced coffee with a little bit of hazelnut.

"Oh... just a lucky guess." Hailee shrugged and you waved it off.

Correction! Not a lucky guess. She actually stalked my insta and went to multiple different friends of mine to find that out.

I was head over heels in love with you!

And still are...

Hell yeah I am.

Language!

You and Hailee spent hours just sitting in the booth and talking until sunset came around. Hailee offered to ask you home since it was almost night time and wanted to make sure you'd get home safely. You said yes, of course.

God your mama was a sweetheart. And still is. I still haven't opened a single door to this day.

And it better stay that way.

When the two of you stopped outside your porch, you turned to her with a smile. "I had a good time tonight. Thank you."

"Anytime, I did too." Hailee whispered as you both stared into each others eyes. You decided to make the first move.

Like always...

Y/N!

You cupped her cheeks and pulled her down for a soft, slow kiss as her eyes widened in shock before melting into it. "Meet me tomorrow at school." You mumbled on her lips and she nodded slightly as you kissed both of her cheeks. "See you tomorrow, Haiz."

"Yeah..." Hailee whispered in a trance. "See you tomorrow." With that, you shut your door softly and Hailee celebrated quietly, feeling extremely proud of herself for asking you out as she pumped her fists in the air like crazy.

Mama was excited!

She sure was.

Hailee stared at the front of your door before smiling giddily and practically skipping her way back to her house with a new found happiness.

"And that's the story of how we met." You concluded as you set the picture frame of you and Hailee down from when you went to the cafe together.

"Who took the picture?" Kate asked.

"Well that would be Taylor." Hailee answered with a smile. "She was somewhere in the cafe without us knowing it. She knew what we could be before we even knew it and took that picture of us the first time we met. Now here we are, married for 6 years with the best two kids in the entire world." Kate giggled as your wife tickled her and scooped her up to take her to bed.

"Mommy?" Nate asked as the other girls were gone. You looked down at your son.

"Yes?"

"Will you always love mama?" You smiled softly as you crouched down to his height level, holding up your wedding ring, unaware that Hailee was leaning against the wall with a smile.

"This means till death do us part. So until then, or even beyond that, I will never ever leave your mama. I will always love her." You assure Nate as he smiled happily, giving you a big hug and running upstairs to his bed.

"You're amazing." Hailee whispered and kissed your lips gently which made you hum in response.

"We both are."

I really like the whole inner monologue thing we got going on there.
