I was trying to track down my girlfriend since she was loose somewhere in the house. Tini and Brando were sleeping soundly in their beds while the rest of the house was quiet. Unusual.
I made my way downstairs to the living room — still no sign of Y/N. I enter the kitchen; same thing. Empty. "BABE!" I suddenly shout as loud as possible, hearing soft footsteps from above me. "Y/N!"
"OFFICE!" She yelled back and I immediately rushed up. We had two different offices; the music one and our regular one that we can use for anything. I typically use it for gaming though, Y/N usually it for work. Boring.
"I've been looking everywhere for you." I state as I enter the room, my girlfriend giving me a sorry look with a sympathetic smile which I wave off. "What're you up to?"
"Just some work." She answered as she spun her chair back around. I wrapped my arms around her from behind, stuffing my face in her neck, inhaling her scent.
Confusion runs through my body as I suddenly pull away making Y/N confused as well. "What's wrong?" She asked when she noticed the look on my face.
"Who's perfume is that?" I jumped straight to the point with a serious tone and expression. Y/N just laughed, smiling fondly up at me. "This isn't funny. Who's perfume is that?"
Her laughter slowly died down as she said nothing verbally to me. She reached over me, opening her drawer as she showed me the brand new perfume bottles inside.
"There was a sale at Bath and Body Works so I got a bunch of them. This one is strawberry pound cake, what do you think?" She gestured to her neck. My jaw dropped as my eyes widened slightly. Y/N giggled again, pulling me in her lap while wrapping her arms around my neck. "Did you think I was cheating on you?"
I didn't want to answer, I just looked down at my lap, avoiding her eyes and stare. She hooked her finger under my chin, lifting my head up as we made eye contact. "Baby, I would never. You're my precious girlfriend and I'm never leaving you. No one could ever take your place. Promise." She whispered sweetly to me.
I began to smile as she reached for another perfume bottle. "This one is eucalyptus. Smell it." Y/N demanded cutely as I laughed again, making her smile.
"I love you." I suddenly breathed out, looking at her lovingly.
She looked back at me the same way. It melted my heart. "I love you more, silly."
