Voice of an Angel (Part 2)

"Uh hey, I'm Y/N. Wanna get some ice cream together?"

Emily's POV:

"Uh yeah sure, that sounds great." I stutter over my words as she smiled warmly at me. I take a deep breath watching her walk out before following her to the nearby ice cream shop.

When we got inside she already ordered and snagged us a booth. "So, Emily, what's your favorite thing to do?" Y/N asked me and I glanced off to the side in thought.

"Probably writing music." I nod and smile at her. "What's yours?"

"I love singing. I just love the feeling of being on stage and feeling the beat." She expressed and I smiled at her, resting my chin in the palm of my hand as she kept talking.

We talked for hours. Mostly about things we had in common. I felt so connected with her, she's really pretty too. I accidentally blurted that out and she laughed, waving it off but I saw a blush on her cheeks.

We were walking down the street since I audited on walking her home. It was dark so of course I would let her. Plus I kinda wanted to admire her in the moonlight.

"This is my stop." Y/N said as she smiled up at me, rocking back and forth on her feet slightly as she stopped in front of an apartment complex.

"Well I had fun." I whispered with a smile and she chuckled softly. Then she did the unexpected and leaned up to kiss my cheek.

"See you tomorrow." She whispered softly as she pulled away to look at me with stars in her eyes. I watched her with a blush as she walked inside her apartment complex, feeling the warmth of her lips on my cheek brought a smile to my face.

I can't wait to see her again.
