Rough day

Y/N's POV:

I've had a really rough day on set today, I couldn't remember my lines for the life of me and it felt like I was holding everyone back.

I got home and Martini and Brando were the first ones to greet me. They pawed at my legs which small barks with their tongues sticking out. I smiled tiredly as I bent down to pet them. Brando crawled in my lap while Martini rubbed against my arm.

My beautiful girlfriend stood in the doorway with a smile. "Hi, my love." She said softly and walked over to me, I stopped up and hugged her tightly, feeling her chuckle slightly as she held my waist. "How was your day?"

"Rough." I muttered and sighed when she rubbed my back.

"It's okay, baby. Let's get you a bath, some food in your stomach, and lay down watching a movie while cuddling. How does that sound?" She suggested and my eyes lit up at it, nodding softly as she helped carry me bridal style up stairs.

She ran the water as I stripped out of my clothes. Hailee then pressed a kiss to my forehead. "Relax and take a bath. I'll go get dinner prepped, okay? Take your time." So I did. I relaxed and let the warm water relax my muscles. I spent about 15-20 minutes in the bath before getting out and walking downstairs wearing one of Hailee's hoodies.

"Hi." I said shyly, walking up to hug her from behind and bury my face in her neck, inhaling the scent of her perfume that made me smile.

"Hey, baby." She cooed and rubbed the back of my neck as I smelled her making spaghetti. "You hungry?" I nodded my head as she began playing our food.

We sat down at the table, enjoying the food Hailee made as we talked about our day and what movie we wanted to watch before crawling in bed together. Hailee pulled me in her lap, I laid my head on her chest as she clicked play on Edge of Seventeen. It took a lot of convincing to have her watch it with me.

"You tired, darling?" She asked, brushing some hair out of my face when she noticed my eyes falling.

"Mhm." I hummed softly and she pulled the blanket over me, kissing my cheek lovingly.

"Get some rest, sweetheart. I love you."

"I love you too." I muffled back sleepily as I passed out not too long after, safe and comfortable in my girlfriends arms.
