Hailee's POV:

My arm was wrapped around Y/N's shoulders as we sat together on the bench at a park. I suggested going early in the morning to catch the morning breeze when very few people will be out. Of course since my girlfriend is a sucker for peace, she immediately agreed.

"We should get something to drink." Y/N whispered quietly as I turned my head to look down at her.

"What are you thinking?"

"We should get slushies."

"Red?" I asked as Y/N filled our cups with the red cherry slushy flavor.

"Yep. Best flavor." She smiled while I chuckled shaking my head and paying for it. We walked out of the 7/11 before we stopped to sit by the water fountain nearby. "Have you ever had a cherry slushy before?"

"Of course I have, it's just not my favorite." I shrug as she stared at me for a moment before sticking the stare in the drink, holding the cup up to my face. "What?"

"Try it."

"Babe I just told you-"

"Yeah and I don't care, try it again." My stubborn girlfriend pushed as I sighed, staring at the cup in her hand before reluctantly grabbing it and taking a sip. The cherry flavor invading my taste buds that actually tasted really good. "So..?"

"It's... not bad." I admit, not trying to boost her ego more as she smiled in victory, pumping her fists in the air. I laughed at her cuteness.

"I told you." She pointed at me and shoved my shoulder lightly, resting her head against my arm. I laid my head on top of hers, sipping the slushy as we took in the peaceful scenery of nature right in front of us.

"I love you." I whispered after a moment of admiring how perfect she looked.

"I love you more." She smiled, cupping my cheek with her hand as she kissed me slowly.
