Wrong Direction (Part 2)

Hailee's POV:

After getting all my makeup off and changing into new, more comfier clothes, I felt a little refreshed. I left the dressing room, seeing Y/N standing outside on her phone. She looked very cute wearing my jacket, it was much bigger than her, but she made it look good.

"Hey." I call our softly, seeing the Y/H/C girl look up at me, a smile ghosting her lips as she gave me a hug. "Thanks for waiting." I muttered in her neck, inhaling her scent discreetly, her perfume was always my favorite, it smelled amazing.

"Of course, let's go home." Y/N suggested, holding her hand out for me as we made our way out of the stadium, as soon as we entered the parking lot, we were bombarded by paparazzi.

"Hailee, how do you feel after performing that gut-wrenching song?"

"Y/N, are you being a supportive best friend?"

"Are you guys rumored to be dating?"

Their questions made both me and Y/N roll our eyes. Y/N shielded me as she allowed me to get in the car safely without the paparazzi trying to get in my face. Soon enough she was able to get inside, making me smile as she maneuvered her way out of the parking lot, leaving the photographers in the dust.

"Paparazzi are so annoying." Y/N broke the silence, scoffing under her breath. I chuckled, grabbing her hand off of the steering wheel.

"Yeah, but they can't bother us at home." I smile and she smiled at me as well, soon enough she was pulling into the driveway of my house. "Thank you for driving. I would've, like usual, but I didn't have it in me." I sighed and Y/N shrugged her shoulders.

"I really don't mind, Haiz, don't worry. I'll do it more often if it makes you happy." She reassured, she said it so casually, but she had no clue how much of an impact her words had on me. They made me very happy.

Y/N opened the door to my house, immediately being greeted by my children. Tini and Brando jumped at our legs making us laugh as I grab Brando, Y/N grabbing Tini, and we both took them upstairs with us to my bedroom.

"Little cuties." Y/N mumbled as we both collapsed, side by side, in my bed. Brando buried himself in Y/N's hoodie, meanwhile Martini was sleeping on my chest. I smiled, scratching behind her ear before turning my to look at my best friend.

"Can you stay the night?" Y/N nodded at my question, smiling brightly as she relaxed on the bed more. I did the same, the pups fast asleep on top of us. I felt Y/N grab my hand, holding it gently as her thumb grazed over my knuckles, it brought me comfort and joy as I soon heard the soft, cute snores leave her lips.

I glanced at her once more, feeling content and happy for the first time in a long time. I was finally able to sleep so peacefully and easily.
