Late night drive

Y/N's POV:

I was laying in bed as I did my homework when all of sudden I heard a tapping noise on my window. I looked over and saw Charlie standing on a tree branch as she knocked on my window. I rolled my eyes with a smile as I walked over, unlocking the latch as I opened it.

"Hey there, stranger." Charlie grinned as she climbed into my bedroom, rolling on the ground as she laid on her back.

"What are you doing here at.." I trailed off as I check my watch. "11:36 at night?"

"Honestly..." She dusted herself off as she stood up, looking at me with a wink. "I missed you." I smiled to myself as she cupped my face, bringing me towards her as I stood ok my tippy toes and kissed her lips softly. "And that, I missed that too." She whispered when we pulled away making me giggle.

"I missed you too." I managed to say with the brightest smile on my face as she stroked my cheek.

"Wanna go for a drive?" Charlie smirked, holding up the keys to her car as I bit my lip, giving her an eager nod. I quickly grabbed my hoodie (that I stole from her) and threw it on before climbing out the window with the help of my girlfriend and walking to her car.

The stars above us shined brightly as I stuck my head out the window of her buggy, feeling the cold breeze in my hair and face made me smile that I didn't notice the way Charlie was looking at me. There was some quiet music playing in the background as I observed the full moon that was so beautiful.

I felt the car come to a stop as Charlie pulled over in an empty parking lot that was built not to far from the ocean. I was the first to get out and run to the railing, watching the waves crash. I felt Charlie's arms wrap around me from behind as she rested her chin on my shoulder.

"You look so beautiful." She whispered in my ear and I blushed a bright red but thanks to the dark sky she couldn't really see it that much.

"You're such a flirt." I giggle back as she spun me around, holding my hips in her strong arms as she kissed me passionately under the night sky while the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore filled our ears.

"Shut up and kiss me." She whispered as I turned around in her arms, cupping her face and pulling her down for a deep kiss as the wind blew through our hair. Her arms wrapped around my waist as she held me close.
