Somewhere throughout the night I started to feel sick. I'm not aure when. When everyone made speaches? When Lily and Ash danced? When they popped champagne? I don't know. All I know is I'm not feeling too well.
I'm standing with my head leaned on Nick's arm. My hand is linked with his big one and my eyes are droopy. They don't seem to have the strength to stay open.
I'm not sure why I'm tired so early. It can't even be 9 pm right now. After the engagement and celebrating we all ate a few snacks and now we are just standing around while Ash and Lily are going through the crowd greeting everyone and showing off the ring.
My tiredness never vanishes not even when Asher and Lily walks up to us.
It's funny that I can be this tired without pills.
Lily basically jumps on Nick with a tight hug. When she's back on her feet she hits his chest repeatedly. "How. Dare. You. Not. Visit. For. So. Long." She hits him after every word.
"We were busy Lil." Is all he answers back her.
She shakes her head before she turns to me. She looks over me a few times before a high pitched scream leaves her lips. "Oh my God is this her Nick!?" She whispers pretty loudly he nods in response.
So he talks about me. Huh.
His response seems to make her even more excited. "Hi! I've heard so much about you! I seriously started to think it was impossible for the guy to get a girl." She whispers the last part to me and I giggle.
"Congratulations on the engagement. I hope we can get to know each other more in the next few days." I say as I hug her.
I notice how she doesn't touch my back at all. She keeps her hands on my shoulders and for that I thank the lovely Lord. Because even if all the cuts are healed the scars are very sensitive.
Ash and Lily start talking about something that I can't quite focus on since my eyes start to blur.
What is happening?
Suddenly Nick turns my head to look at him. "Sweet pea, are you feeling okay?" He asks softly. I nod my head but stop immediately since it makes me dizzy.
I won't tell him I have a headache that feels like a policeman pounding on a front door and I definitely won't tell him I'm dizzy because I wouldn't want to ruin his night and make us leave earlier.
"I'm just tired that's all." He looks over my face for a moment before shaking his head.
Lily speaks up. "Yea, Liana you really don't look too good." Ash nods in agreement.
"You're pale and you're eyes look dull, let's go home." He starts taking my hand but I pull back.
"I'm really okay Nick. I can go a few more hours." I assure him.
