When I woke up it was about 5 pm. And I was woken up in the weirdest way. When my eyes finally adjusted to the light streaming through the windows I came face to face with Delilah whom sat on top of me while giggling. Now I know for a fact the nine months old can't climb onto a bed by herself so someone had to put her on top of me. But that someone is nowhere in sight.

Sitting up and placing the baby in my lap I look around the room. No one.

Looking down at Delilah I notice her playing with a piece of paper. Taking it from her hand I unfold it and read the neat hand writing.

Come to the backyard, Sweet pea.

It doesn't take a genius to know that it's Nick who wrote the note. Only he calls me Sweet pea.

Standing up with Delilah in my arms I walk out of the room slowly, though I soon realize I'm only in a pair of Nick's boxers so I walk back into the room and get into the pair of jeans that I left in there.

When I get downstairs, Delilah is taken away from me by Penny. I smile at the woman and continue my way outside.

I'm buzzing with anticipation because I can't wait to see Nick. I thought he was dead. They took way too long on that mission.

When I'm in the backyard I turn in a circle. I see nothing. The green grass seems like there's not a single blade out of place, the trees stand high and the birds sing their melodies. Nature is beautiful, really. But I don't want to see nature right now. I want to see Nick.

A small sound of a branch snapping travels from behind me. I turn around quickly to see Nick standing there in a black t-shirt and some long black pants. His face is bruised and there's cuts all over his arms and hands. A gasp slips from my lips and my eyes widen. I run up to him and jump into his arms. I wrap my arms around his neck and legs around his waist.

Nick let's out a grunt and immediately I try to get back down to the ground. "Oh my god! I'm sorry! I didn't think about you're body being sore!" I try getting down agian but Nick just holds me tighter to his chest. "I-I'm just so happy you're okay. I-um I missed you." I whisper out softly.

Nick's hand sneaks to the back of my neck and pulls me back a little. He looks deep into my eyes before a lazy grin makes it's way onto his lips. Before I can say anything else his lips slam onto mine catching me a bit of guard, but I don't hesitate to kiss him back. I move my lips agians his soft ones and when the air in my lungs are too little I pull away slowly.

"I missed you too, Sweet pea." Nick says with a small smile.

"I'm sorry." I whisper while tears form in the corners of my eyes. "I don't know why I'm so stupid and oblivious-" Nick opens his mouth to say something but I continue, cutting him off. "-I know he doesn't love me. I have known all my life. I just wish he did. And I don't know why I flinched. I'm not afriad of you. I'll never be afriad of you. I was just so hopeful when he called and you crushed my hope. And you were right to do that. Because that hope would've hurt me so bad." Tears are streaming down my face by the time I'm done talking and Nick is looking at me with a stern look.

"You never say sorry to me. Am I understood?" Before I can even say something he continues. "It was all my fault. I should have never shouted at you. Never. And you're not wrong for wanting you're father's love. I was just mad- I am mad that you're father doesn't give you the live you deserve. And I'm the one who should be apologizing... Which is what I'm doing. I'm sorry, Sweet pea." Before I can blink Nick places me down and steps to the side. Behind him sits a neat blue box with a white bow on top.

I side eye Nick before stepping forward. Slowly I bend down and undo the bow. When it's out of the way I open the lid of the box and the gasp that leaves my lips takes all my breath along with it.

Right there in the bottom of the large box sits two of the cutest little kittens ever. They are both very small and extremely adorable. One grey and one as white as snow, both with ice blue eyes.

"Nick they are adorable!" I scream as I pick up a kitten in each hand

"Nick they are adorable!" I scream as I pick up a kitten in each hand. Looking down at them I smile as my eyes fills with more tears.

Looking up at Nick I see him looking at me with the same look I just gave the kittens. "I was going to get you only one but the lady at the store said their siblings... I felt bad to separate them."

I grin at him. "If you did separate them and I found out you better know I would've made you go back for the other one." Nick chuckles before pulling me into his chest. I lift the kittens making sure we're not squishing them between our bodies.

"Am I forgiven?" Nick asks softly and I nod frantically.

"You most definitely are. But you better know everytime we argue, you can't just buy me a pet and move on. We'll have a zoo at the end of the day." I mutter the last part into his chest.

I can basically hear Nick's smirk in his voice as he speaks his next words. "I'll make sure to buy a separate house for them then." I throw my head back and laugh loudly.

"What are their names?" I ask as I hand the grey kitten to Nick. I look down at the white one and kiss it's head.

"They don't have any yet. You can choose any names you like." Looking up at Nick I smile. My mouth is starting to hurt from all of this smiling.

"You pick the grey one's name and I'll pick the white one's." Nick nods slowly before looking at the gender of his kitten.

I do the same and discover that it's a boy. "It's a boy. Hmm." I hum as I think of a name. Just then the perfect name slips into my mind and I smile brightly. "Oh yes! I'm naming him Casper. You know like Casper the ghost!"

Nick nods. "Great choice baby, since  mine's a boy too I'm naming him Nickle."

I look at Nick for a moment before smirking. "I like it."

"I love you, Sweet pea."

"I love you too Nick."
