My 11th birthday. The one I'd never forget. I was just walking downstairs to get myself some breakfast like I'd do everyday. When I got in the kitchen I saw something I'd never thought I'd see. On the counter stood a big wrapped present. It was wrapped in some pink wrapping paper that had bunnies on it. I walked forward and checked the little tag on it. It was from one of dad's business partner's son. Ajax. I had only seen him a few times but we got along well. I opened the box and took out the big bunny teddy that was inside. He started calling me bunny since we met. And that's what he called me until we turned 15. That's when he moved to Miami and we lost contact.
The reason I would never forget about my 11th birthday is because it was the only time I got a present in my entire life. June doesn't do presents. She either tells you what she's getting you or she doesn't get you anything. Penny has her own children to take care of and Papa won't buy me anything...obviously.
Why am I bringing up my 11th birthday? Well it's simple because the boy that made my 11th birthday so exciting is not a boy no more. He's a man. A man that hasn't changed one bit. A man who's tall and handsome. A man who's standing infront of me right now.
"Hi Bunny." Ajax says as he stops infront of me.
We were all playing volleyball together but I decided to come and get my sun glasses. Halfway there I saw a fimiliar figure walking towards me.
"Ajax?" I ask actually shocked.
What's he doing here? In Evergreen.
"How have you been Bunny?" He asks still using the nickname that made my face red as a teenager. Although now it has no effect on me.
"Um I've been good. You?" I ask as I grab my glasses and place them on.
Now that my eyes are covered I look over him. He's tall. But not as tall as Nick. He has no tattoos and he has a six pack that I don't look at twice.
Nick has an eight pack.
"I'm good. I'm here for business." He says with a smirk.
Just as I'm about to say goodbye a hand wraps around my waist and lips connects with mine. I don't pull away since it's Nick's addicting smell that fills my nose. He pulls away and glares at Ajax.
My mouth runs dry as I see the way he's looking at him. He looks ready to pull out that gun from the beach bag and shoot him ten times.
My lungs start screaming for a cigarette and Nick seems to realise because he starts taking out his pack since June and Dean went to get food.
"Oh hello. I'm Ajax." Ajax holds out his hand and Nick leaves him hanging.
"You know him Sweet pea?" Nick asks as he hands me a cigarette. Ajax looks at it with discust.
