"This is way too much Nick." Lia whines as we walk down the Target clothing aisles. Why we couldn't go to Gucci is beyond me.
I'm pushing a cart that's over flowing with clothes. Cheap ass clothes. Leggings, t-shirts, shorts, jeans, sweatpants, hoodies, sweatshirts, socks and knitted sweaters. I got Lia to agree to buying her shoes and accessories at Gucci and Louis Vuitton. For her panties and bra's we went to Victoria's secret. I'm 110% sure she only agreed so that way we can leave the mall for the first time in four hours, only to discover that we had to go to Target first. Now we have been here for another 2 hours.
Looking down at the cart I sigh. I want to get more but I know not only will Lia whine more but the cart might give in if a single sock gets added to it.
I can always just come buy her more throughout the week. Then just add the clothing to her closet without telling her.
"Fine." I sigh. Looking to my left to tell Lia we can go, I am met with the short blonde already sprinting towards the check out tills.
I chuckle and follow behind.
"Oh wow! Getting a closet restock?" The old lady behind the counter asks in surprise as her brown eyes gets sight of the cart.
I nod. "Yes ma'am."
"Well it is necessary to do it atleast once a year. When last did you do it hun?" Her question is directed at Liana. Lia looks at the woman with her cheeks red and nose scrunched.
After sending me a side glance she mumbles her answer. "About...three years ago."
The woman's eyes widen and she chuckles. "Well then, I see this was very necessary."
I hum while starting to get the clothes on the counter.
Halfway through I come across three baby outfits. I look at Lia and see her avoiding eye contact. I chuckle. Sneaky little thing.
I pack out the three outfits and the woman picks them up. "Oh my! I can't even begin to imagine how cute a baby with the both of your genes can be!" I don't even try to correct her, not that i get a chance to because Lia is infront of me in seconds with her phone in one hand showing the woman something.
"Her name is Delilah isn't she adorable! Look here she is laying on Nick's chest sleeping peacefully while he works on his laptop!" She scrolls a bit before getting another picture up. "And here she is wearing sunglasses while we were shopping!" She scrolls agian. "And here she is five minutes later sleeping in my arms with a chip hanging from her mouth that someone-" she looks at me with the stink eye."-put in her mouth because he thought he was funny." By the time she's finished both me and the woman are staring at her in awe. The woman because she can't get over the cute little brunette baby she just saw and me because I'm absolutely in love with this girl.
