I narrow my eyes at the little baby sitting in front of me. Delilah looks at me with big, innocent, brown eyes acting as if she's doing nothing wrong. Huffing I point a finger at her. "You better not."
With a small, toothless grin Delilah rips the little bootie I put on her feet off. My eye twitches and I grumble before pulling the baby closer once more. And for the third time I take her little feet and put the shoes on once agian. But of course that doesn't last long because as I'm putting on the second on the first on is already being taken off.
I step back and shake my head. "Nick!"
Not even a minute later Nick is in the room with his gun in hand. I sigh while pinching the bridge of my nose. "She won't keep her shoes on." I snitch on the baby while she gives me the stink eye for telling her father.
Nick chuckles and walks over. "Be good for Lia and keep them on, okay baby?" He asks the little baby as he puts the shoes back on. Delilah giggles and claps her hands, completely forgetting about the booties on her feet.
When Nick steps aside I pick Delilah up and walk to the full body sized mirror in our room.
I dressed Delilah in a white sundress that has little, yellow flowers all over it. It has puff sleeves and they are see through. I paired it with some white, knitted booties that has bunny ears.
