21. Waitress ___________
It's crazy. It's nuts. It's really very hilarious.
Since walking in through the restaurant doors (five minutes ago) we haven't moved. Because the scene infront of us is just too entertaining.
Dean is holding back a very angry looking June who is trying to (quite literally) kill a waitress. Trevor is sitting there watching while eating French fries and the waitress is looking all innocent.
Slowly looking at Nick I keep my laughter at bay and take Delilah's car seat from his hand. "Um Nick. Will you be a darling and help poor Dean a bit."
He looks at me and nods once. Then he starts walking over to Dean and goes to stand infront of June.
He bends down to be closer to her ear before whispering something to her. She nods her head as he speaks and then a loud gasp leaves her lips.
Immediately June stops fighting before turning to me. My eyebrows furrow and only a few seconds later my eyes widen as she runs to me.
She stands infront of me before whispering softly. "You need a tampon?"
I choke on my seliva.
Looking over her shoulder I see a small not so visible smirk on Nick's lips. He folds his arms together and shrugs.
Oh that son of a bitc-
I slowly nod my head. "Yup. I forgot to bring some with me."
She quickly pulls me to a bathroom. On our way we drop Delilah at the table. (Not literally)
When we enter she goes through her cherry red handbag and hands me a total of five tampons. I pretend to go to the toilet when in reality I just sit on the closed lid. "So what was happening out there?" I ask as my curiosity takes over.
She let's out a loud annoyed sound. "Arg she flirted with Dean. Then proceeded to literally insult me. Calling me short and flat." My eyes widen. Because let me tell you June is everything but flat. She has everything a man can ask for. Not too much and not too little. But... She is a bit short.
Me on the other hand has just underneath the mark of the perfect amount.
"What a awful girl." I say not believing this. It's so rude.
"I know right. And the audacity to flirt with Dean. Arg." I let out a small giggle.
"You sound jealous June." I say as I step out of the stall and wash my hands. (Not that it's needed)
"I am not." She says quickly.
I nod my head slowly. "Of course not." She definitely is jealous.
After only a few more minutes we walk out of the bathroom. When I sit down next to Nick he hands me a strawberry milkshake. I beam at him.
