He got away. The mother fucker got away.
Not only that but he got away and made a promise.
Flashback.
I slam my back agianst the wall as a harsh breath leaves my lips. My chest rises and falls rapidly and my head pounds because of the loud gun fires all around me.
Silas came with over 30 of his own men. Which comes as no surprise. Obviously he's gonna bring men with him. But we hadn't expected them to jump us from behind.
Fuck.
Turning around the corner I quickly fire my gun, killing 3 men instantly. When I'm sure the room is clear I make my way through it towards the room I know he's in. I push open the door to be met with the largest room in the warehouse. All it's windows have been thrown out with rocks and the ceilings are falling. Looking in every corner and inch of the room I'm met with nothing.
Fuck fuck fuck!
My feet carry me out towards the hallway before I'm out the door. My eyes land on Silas as he climbs into a Lamborghini that speeds away instantly. I cuss and take deep breaths.
"He's fucking gone!" I shout into my earpiece.
Just as all my men start to fight about where they were supposed to be located my phone rings. Seeing that it's an unknown number I pick up immediately.
Silas's chuckle travels through the speaker. I clench my jaw. "Nice plan Brent. To bad it didn't work."
"Yea, because you ran like a pussy." I grit out and start to make my way back inside.
"Hmm. Say, since we're playing dirty now, you know you taking my wife and all. I think I should make it even." He hums like he's thinking about something.
I stop dead in my tracks and my vision because red from fury. "Fuck off."
"What's her name agian... Oh yes! Liana. Liana Perez...You know, I'm very good friends with her father. He's a good man." He says calmly. But I'm everything but calm.
"You leave my girl out of this shit Chesterfield. I won't hesitate to fucking kill your wife in front of your eyes." My warning comes out cold. I'm not lying one bit. If he as much as touches a single hair on Lia's body I'll put a bullet in his wife's head in front of him.
"Give me my wife and I'll leave your little girlfriend alone. If I dont have my wife by tomorrow, Lia will be going through hell." Just like that the call end and I throw my phone agianst the wall.
