"The Fable of the Bitter Gourd"

Once upon a time, there was a sad Bitter Gourd living in a distant garden. The Bitter Gourd was a vegetable with a bitter taste and a prickly appearance. Because of this, children often ignored it while playing in the garden.

One day, the Bitter Gourd noticed that whenever the children passed by, they would laugh and make fun of its appearance and taste. Every time Bitter Gourd heard this, its sadness deepened. It couldn't understand why it was treated differently and disliked by the children.

Despite the constant teasing it faced, Bitter Gourd never lost hope. One day, an old Banana Tree arrived in the garden. The Banana Tree was known for its gentle and wise nature.

The Banana Tree noticed Bitter Gourd's sadness and asked, "Why are you so sad, Bitter Gourd?" Bitter Gourd replied, "I am always ignored and rejected by the children. They dislike me because of my bitter taste and prickly appearance."

Smiling, the Banana Tree said, "Bitter Gourd, we are all unique. Our beauty and worth should not be based solely on our appearance. You have been endowed with qualities like no other, and they serve different purposes."

"The bitter taste of the Bitter Gourd has the ability to lower our blood sugar levels, making it beneficial for our health. Its prickly appearance also provides protection against harm and prevents us from getting injured."

Bitter Gourd looked at itself and slowly began to understand the message from the Banana Tree. It realized that it should not be ashamed of its qualities. Its differences held a special role in the world.

From that moment on, Bitter Gourd stopped being saddened by the children's reactions. It chose to strengthen and uplift itself. Instead of suppressing its qualities, it used them to become resilient and valuable to the people.

With each passing of the children, they no longer laughed and made jokes about Bitter Gourd. Instead, they learned to appreciate and respect its unique beauty and worth. The children learned not to judge others based solely on appearance or first impressions.

They also learned that consuming Bitter Gourd was beneficial for their health.

Lesson:

This fable teaches us that we should not judge others solely based on their appearance or first impressions. Each one of us has unique abilities and potentials that can contribute to the well-being of others and society.
