 "I am?"

"Yes you are. Are you thirsty?"

"I am starting to become thirsty. Why?"

"It has been almost another twenty eight days. This will be your fourth sip."

"I know." I said quietly.

"Take it now."

"Are you sure?" He nodded. I took my sip and laid down. I waited for the satisfying feeling but it did not come.

"I need to feed. I am still thirsty."

"That makes four months. That should be enough time to cross the Atlantic."

"I hope so." He kissed me gently then looked into my eyes.

"Let us get you fed."

"All right." I moved slowly out of the bed. Paddy was up and dressed.

"Kylie?" He was standing in front of me.

"Why are you moving so slowly?"

"Am I?" I looked at him already dressed. "I am moving as fast as I can."

"First you fall asleep then you start to tremble now you are moving at mortal speed." He looked extremely worried. He helped me dress.

We walked casually out of the cavern. He picked me up and ran into the woods. I walked up to a deer and feed. It tasted so good.

I was able to feed on two deer. I laid in the grass watching the night sky. Paddy had his fill from one of the deer. He walked over to me and laid down beside me. He shifted.

"How are you feeling now?" He whispered.

"Full." I looked at him. My eyes had gone from bloodlust to passion. He smiled.

I rolled over on top of him and kissed him fully on the lips. I had moved at my normal speed.

"I guess four months is the limit?"

"I think so. Could it be possible I was going dormant?"

"I think you were. It took me a while to wake you up. I was worried you were going to have the same problem as Wilbert."

"You forget. I have not had any sangria."

"True or a sea creature's thorn." He smiled.

He rolled us over so that he was on top. He kissed me.

"Are you in a hurry to go back?"

"No."

"Good."

We stayed out in the woods for a while. Liam and Lizzy were waiting for us when we returned to the cavern.

"Where were you two?"

"I needed to feed. Was there something you needed Lizzy?"

"No. We had gone by your quarters to say hello and you were gone. We thought something was wrong."

"No everything is all right Grandma." Paddy said.
