She moved so fast if you blinked you would have missed her. She bit my neck and started gulping down my blood. I could not push her away she was behind me.
"Cassie! No!" Paddy and Samuel were both on her pulling her away.
She screamed 'wanting more.'
Samuel had his arms locked around her. She kicked and screamed. She was no match for him.
She had taken enough out of me to make me weak. Paddy caught me as I slowly sunk to the floor.
"Kylie? The bite is still bleeding."
"Lick it." Samuel said. "It will help heal it."
Paddy licked my neck. It tickled.
"It worked." He smiled.
"My grandfather told me once 'Sometimes it just needs a little lick to help it heal.'"
Cassie started to cry. "Momma."
She struggled with Samuel. "Let me see my mother." Paddy nodded to Samuel. He let her go.
She ran to us. "Papa what happened to her?"
"A vampire bit her."
"Why would a vampire bite Mom?" Cassie licked her lips. She still had my blood on them. "No I did this." She cried. She put her head on my chest and cried.
"Momma, I am so sorry." Her cry did not sound quite right. Paddy and I looked at each other.
They both moved at the same time. Paddy lunged towards her. Cassie went for my neck again. I was too weak to fight her off the second time.
Samuel and Paddy pulled her off of me again.
"No! You taste sooo gooood."
Paddy was becoming angry with her. He roared quite loud. She stopped fighting.
"Samuel please take Cassie out to hunt."
"Of course Paddy."
Samuel left with Cassie.
"Kylie?" He licked my neck again. I giggled. He smiled. "What?"
"It tickles." I whispered. He looked at me worriedly. "You need to feed again."
"Yes." I said hoarsely.
"All right time to find something for you."
He helped me up. We went further North to the sea. The seals would be plentiful there.
We could hear Cassie calling me.
"Do you think she will remember any of this?" I asked Paddy.
"I do not think so. Your blood must be what she is craving. Its one of the minor phases. You crave something so bad you will do anything for it."
"What did you crave?"
