"Come my friends, we will continue our feast of Kylie's cooking."

"Let us out." Crispin yelled.

"If they bother you, my dear man, just close the outer door."

"Yes Sir."

"Better yet. I will do it for you." Elder Camarillo closed the solid outer door that covered the barred door. You could not hear them anymore. "Ah much better."

We returned to our quarters.

"I wonder what else it does?" Athos wondered.

"I guess we will find out eventually." Scott said.

Liam and Lizzy had followed us to our quarters. "Sir are we going to be using these?" Liam held up his whip.

"No you may put them away. Sorry for bothering you."

"It is all right Sir." They left.

Katey and Jules sat down in the common room.

"Kylie your meal was delicious."

"Thank you Katey."

I served some tea to everyone. We were sitting and chatting when there was a knock at the door. Paddy went to answer it.

"Yes Barry?"

"Um Sir, there is smoke coming from under the cell door."

Paddy, Shaun, Cory and Quinn were about to run and see. The Clan Elder stopped them. "Gentlemen!"

They stopped and turned to him.

"Barry what colour is the smoke?"

"Huh? Sir?"

"The smoke? What colour is it?"

"It looked white at first but it has a bluish colour to it now."

"It is harmless. We will go down after our tea."

"Yes Sir." Barry went back to his post.

"Gentlemen please come and finish your tea."

They looked at each other. "Do not worry Gentlemen. It is harmless to them. They are shifters. They will heal. They are just learning what fear is." Elder Camarillo smiled.

Paddy sat down with me. The others also sat down.

We finished our tea. The Clan Elder waited a full hour before going to see the prisoners.

We were all curious to see what happened.

As we approached the cell there was a lot of smoke. It was making everyone cough.

"Oh dear, I did not think there would be this much smoke." He looked at the ones coughing. They were all vampires. The smoke did not bother the werewolves or the shifters.

I started to wheeze. Paddy held me by the shoulders.

"Fruit. Smoke. Sangria." I said through gasps of air. I collapsed into his arms.

"Kylie!" I opened my eyes. Paddy was peering down at me. I was laying on my bed.

I took a deep breathe and grabbed Paddy and kissed him.

"I guess you are feeling better?"

"Yes." I sat up. "What happened?"

"I am not sure. I was too busy bringing you here. All the vampires started collapsing."

"Oh dear."

"I knew something was wrong when you said 'Sangria.' before you collapsed."

I nodded. "Was I out for long?"
