Shaun started to curse in many languages.

Shannon laughed. "I have not heard you curse like that in centuries. They can still get to you."

Shaun laughed with his sister. "Yes they can. They are very good at trying my patience."

"Cassie, of course, does not remember hurting us." I said.

"That is the blessing of the hell. No memory." Beverly said. "I will contact Elder Camarillo. He asked me to inform him if the prisoners do anything to cause problems for you."

"Really? I wonder why?" Shaun said.

"He does not trust them. They have put in too much effort to stop now."

"I understand." Shaun said.

"He has the authority to change their sentencing." Shannon told us.

"He already has. He put a starving vampire in with them." Shaun told them. Beverly nodded.

"How is the flogging going?" Beverly asked.

"Its rather pointless, they do not even welt from the whip." Liam said.

"When is their next flogging?" Beverly asked.

"In two days, why?" Liam said.

"I am going to see Mistress Katey. I will need something from her." She stood up.

"Are you not going to eat first?" Colleen asked. "Besides she will be busy serving the evening meal to the werewolves."

"All right. I will go after we eat."

There was a tap at the door. Gen walked in. "Hello Everyone." Gen said as she kissed everyone.

"How is the packing going?" Shaun asked.

"Very well. All the storerooms on the top level have been crated. Now it is everyone's personal belongings. Each family is limited to one crate."

"Good to know Gen. How big is the crate.

"Six by six by six with nine smaller crates that fit inside." She told us. "Robin taught a few of the Guard on how to make them. They are quite something."

"When do we receive ours?" Colleen asked.

"In the next few days."

"Good. I am anxious to start packing."

"What are you talking about? What are you packing for?" Beverly asked.

"That is right. You were not here when the Council made their decision." Shaun answered.

"What decision?" Beverly asked nervously.

"To move across the Atlantic."

"Everyone?!" She asked.

"So far everyone."

"And here I thought I was going to stay put for awhile." She shrugged her shoulders. "I will see if I am able to come with you."

I served their meal then I went and sat beside Paddy. We held hands while he ate.
